Perhaps some of you know of this already, but I just wanted to pass along some money saving information to my Dis friends.

We use this a lot here in MA, but it is available everywhere. I went to see what was available in the Orlando are...and the selection is endless.

We usually get $25 dollar gift certificated for $2-5 dollars depending on the discount code. The current code is "eat" and it offers 70% off right now. Sometimes they offer 80% off!!!!

It really is an awesome way to save money if you are one who likes to eat off Disney property. With a little homework, you can find some nice restaurants.
Just watch out for restrictions like, not valid on weekends or must order two meals, etc.

Enjoy!

My mom's friend was telling her about discount codes also, but where do you find them?

I would like to start purchasing through restaurant.com but only if there is a discount associated with it!

thanks! :)

We used them on our last Disney trip in August. We went to Kimonos and Il Mulino in the Swan hotel. And we went to House of Blues at DTD.

I find the 80% codes are usually towards the end of the month... as for the discounts if you sign up for thier mailing list you will get them emailed to you (or a quick google search)

I actually like Groupon better than restaurant.com. Restaurant.com requires minimum purchase amounts, some date/time restrictions, etc. Groupon is a flat rate off, no suprises, no min. purchases, drinks not included, tax/tip extra, etc.

I have used Restaurant.com in Florida with success though.

Le Peep- a cute breakfast and lunch place near Universal
McCormick and Schmicks- fantastic seafood place.

I'm signed up with rest.com, I get emails regularly with discount codes and never purchase coupons for more then 80% off. :) We use them almost every meal we eat out. :) Love rest.com!! :)

Where is Le Peep? I might try that during our Universal trip.
