Restaurant 60 day window

Hi all,

I know there’s a 60day booking window for restaurants, but does this commence at midnight UK time, midnight Eastern US time, 07:00 UK time, 07:00 Eastern US time or some other time?

you will probably get 60 days plus 10 for the 1st booking. Thats the main thing I will miss not being on-site.

It doesn't matter. Your Poly window opens 14 days after CB, but after 6 days (+-) your CB+10 window will have overlapped the Poly stay anyway.
It would only help if you want to make bookings well beyond your stay dates, eg if staying off-site (though I don't know if you can actually do that).

Not sure I follow that. It will 60 days from CB check-in, and 10 days can be booked. Then days 11-14 will need to be booked at 60 days from those dates - one at a time. Then 60 days out from Poly check-in, both Poly days can be booked. Maybe I've misunderstood.

No you can book the first 10 days of your stay at 60 days, at 59 days you can book day 11, 58 days day 12 all the way to your poly stay. so as I understand you will be able to book dining for the poly stay at 55 days out and 54 days out. I Think that's correct

I don't think that is correct. It's 10 days from the check-in date. It's not a continuous rolling 10 days. So days 11-14 will need to be booked individually. That's been my experience.

The last time I booked which was around 6 weeks ago before it was cancelled I had a 16 night stay booked (at 1 resort) I booked the first 10 days at 60 days out and then I booked the 11th day the very next day and so on. Thats how it worked for me, im not sure maybe with it being a separate resort for your last 2 days that makes any difference.

Im not sure what you mean by individually you mean you have to wait till 60 days from day 11 to book? if so that's not what I have ever done its always for me been book 60 days out first 10 days then daily after that.

Yeah, that's what I meant and that has been my experience. Actually, I may be able to check as I have November trip booked which is more that 10 days in total and spans two resorts - but it's not quite the same as the first resort happens to be 10 days.

But the Disney website does state up to 10 days:

Guests may make advance reservations for dining, the Enchanting Extras Collection, recreation and other experiences up to 60 days in advance. In addition, Disney Resort hotel Guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days)

Hi just gone back to my emails and again this was at a stay at a single resort, I booked my first 10 days at the what was 180 days then and then the 11th day was booked the day after and so on. (that was my first trip that was cancelled)
Also went back to my 2018 trip and I did the same booked 10 days at 180 days out then the 11th at 59 days out etc.
On my last trip that was for October I did the same at 60 days out.

Im not sure whether that has changed or not but ive been 3 times and made 5 bookings the same way. Im intrigued to find out

Just wondering if you booked the first 10 days at 60 days out then when did you make the bookings for days 11-14? at 60 days from the 11th, 60 days from the 12th etc? hope that makes sense

Yeah I think it may mean that you get 60 days + a max of 10 days, so in reality if you are 59 days out you still get the +10 days etc, that's how its always worked for me.

Hope this is right as that was one of my other questions. We’re DVC members too but this will our first stay as DVC members and it’ll be for 12nights.

I managed to get a lunch reservation on the last day of my December trip on the 8th. Couldn't get anything at the beginning of the trip.

Unfortunately not stopping on-site for the first time in a lot of trips. Couldn't justify the huge price difference compare to Universal so will have to hope 60 days gets me what I want
