i'm sure this has been answered so i apologize..
we have dinner reservations for parks i do not plan to be in that day. i do not have park hopper tickets.

will we be allowed in to the park to get to a restaurant?

Nope.

You'll either have to change your days around or get hoppers.

You need a park ticket to get into the park so no you will not be allowed in for a dinner reservation without one. I think that it states this very clearly when you make the reservation.

It states that park tickets are required for restaurants located in the parks.
1. Purchase Park Hoppers/ Upgrade to AP
2. Select restaurant in park going to that day.
3. Change to restaurant located in your park for the day.
4. Eat outside of the 4 parks (resort, DTD, Arabian nights, etc)

As others have said, nope. I would go for the hoppers if you have more than one reservation in a park you won't be going to that day, or switch your plans around and go to that park the day of the ressie. Think of it this way, if they let you in for your reservation, how would they keep track of you to know you're not in the park and riding rides without paying for it?

No, you will not be allowed entry into a park just for an ADR if you don't have park hoppers and plan to go to a different park that day. As others have said, you would need to add the park hopper option, change your park days around, or change restaurants and choose one in the park you're planning to go to that day.
