We will be at WDW this time next week - our first time.

We are on the dining plan, and have reservations for Crystal Palace, Boma, Cinderella's Royal Table - breakfast, Hoop De Doo Revue, and Le Cellier. We just thought we would play the rest by ear.

Is it possible to get ressies for some of the sit down places WHILE you are there?

We are staying at AKL and trying to upgrade to concierge (we should know if that is possible on Sunday). If we don't get concierge, can the hotel try and get ressies for you, or is that only something that is a concierge thing? Or is it alright for US to try and get them while we are there?

    Thanks for any info!

You can certainly try and get ressies for other TS restaurants while you are there, but be aware that most people report this is very hard to do. Many times, there will be a sign at the entrance to the park indicating that all TS restaurants are full and only CS is available that day. However, some have reported being able to get ressies if they are flexible and can eat at off times (perhaps at opening or later in the evening).

If you want to make sure you have a place to eat, your best bet would be to make additional ressies now to fill in where you have gaps. Then you can try and change things around when you are there if there is availability at other places. There are some restaurants that tend to have availability and others that will not have anything free.

If you choose to wing it, just be aware that you might find yourself w/o a TS ressie on a given day because of crowds and unavailability.

Good luck and have a great time.

Subject to availability of course, you can always make your own ADRs (even same-day ADRs) by calling 407-WDW-DINE, asking at the hotel front desk, or visiting Guest Services at one of the parks or DTD.
