Ressie Needed for Sci-Fi Shakes Only?

Will be at HS for the last Friday of SWW. On our last trip we didn't get to go to 50's Prime Time Cafe or Sc-Fi. I have made reservations for both but now I am thinking we will just do Sci-Fi for a shake or something else quick on our way out of the park and have dinner at our resort. Should I keep the reservation even though it is not going to be for a meal? I am thinking so since it will be crowded.

Yes you should. i dont think you could just walk up and ask for a shake

When we were there in March they were taking walk-ups (it was very early in the lunch period, 11 I think) but they said they could only seat walk-ups at the regular tables, not in the cars. If you think you'll want to eat there, make an ADR.

If you want a shake, it's easier to just grab one at the Tune-In Lounge at 50's Primetime. It's a bar, no reservations taken to sit at the bar. You could order food there as well, if you decide you want a few appetizers or a dessert to go with your shake. That's what I'd recommend, vs. keeping the reservation at Sci-Fi.
