Responsible Drivers: Which sex?

Men up here as women tend to be far more tenative and not so sure behind the wheel. You will get women driving 80 KPH in a 100 zone and will drive that in the passing lane or they will ride your tail and be to afraid to pass the vehicle in front of them. More women here are involved in traffic accidents than men of any age it is a terrible statistic but it is true I know I work for an insurance company so I get to see all the info. Men are more likeley to recieve more traffic tickets but wome are involved in and cause more accidents.

Interesting. I work in insurance in one of the worst driving cities in the USA. It's totally the opposite here.

The insurance actuarys tell the tale. Woman are cheaper to insure because, statstically, they are better drivers. Individually however, well lets just say that riding in the car with my mom makes me flash back to Mr. Toads Wild Ride.

ITA. I am in the insurance industry and it is documented over and over again. In the same token, elderly driver's are in a whole different classification!!

Now when men are in accidents they tend to be worse ones but women are in and cause more accidents heck our car has been hit 5 times and 4 of the times were by women. The first time the lady came through the stop sign and hit us her reason for not stopping was she thought everyone had stop signs LOL the next time we were rear ended by a lady that told us she was looking for something in her purse. The last one was the best though she was running late and didn't have time to put on her makeup at home so she had to do it in the car so she ran a red light and hit us LOL.

I took my own personal poll a while back. It seemed that whenever a driver was doing something stupid, it was a woman more often than not. I hated it, but my h got a kick out of my findings. See, I wanted to prove him wrong.

Thanks Sherry and yes I know I left myself wide open for remarks but hey I have thick skin I can take it LOL. But in keeping with the topic it still doesn't change the findings women are the more accident prone drivers here.
