Resorts open for touring?

One of my favorite things to do is pop into a few resorts and check out the lobby’s and pool areas. We’re staying in the Epcot area and were hoping to stop by Dolphin/Swan and Riviera, as we’ve never been to either of these resorts

Is it possible to tour the common areas at these resorts during covid? We’d be using Disney busses to go from resort to resort, or walking.

Are you able to walk around the pool areas at Swan/Dolphin and Riviera as a non-guest?

Sure as long as you use Disney transportation or walk to a resorts that you mentioned or any other open resort and you are welcome to visit to common guest areas.

To visit the Riviera resort you can also use the Disney Skyliner gondola's from Epcot or DHS to visit the Riviera, CBR, and AoA / PoP.

Not only can you tour the common areas at Riviera, you can stop at the DVC booth in the lobby and ask to take a tour of the rooms. We were shown one of the grand villas first and then taken to a 2BR lockoff (1BR + studio with a connecting door). We didn’t get around to a Tower Studio because the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the building. But if you’re curious as to what the rooms look like and have the time, take the tour.

FWIW, I thought the lobby was unimpressive but the villas are truly amazing.

He was great about it. We didn’t hang around to find out why the alarm went off or when the tour could resume. We waited a few minutes but once we saw that pretty much everyone from housekeeping to management was also evacuated, we decided to thank him for his time, complimented the resort on its beauty and caught the Skyliner to Epcot.
