I have THE BEST STORY!!!

This past November my dear friends 11yo DD had her brain tumor reoccur. We were all dumbfound this was not suppose to happen. Her WISH trip was going to be when she was done with chemo and it got bumped up in a hurry. Laura had a very grim diagnosis. I called all over WDW in hope of extra pixie dust and basically was told can't do that. I emailed Tikiman. What he and the Poly staff did for this family was amazing! Upgraded to LVC and a room FULL of presents and Toys. Even the bell person told Laura she must be pretty special because he never saw a room like this!! I wish I could post the pics you all would be amazed!! One of our own Disers tok this family on their Illumination cruise and gave the girls all goodie bags, a true highlight.

Laura was given radiation prior to her trip. Her mom and I both agreed no repeat MRI iuntil their back.."what was it going to tell us anyway!" Thats what we get for thinking we know everything(we are both RNs) because that damm tumor is GONE!!! She might not be out of the woods but at least we can breath a little. I know now what Laura and her family were wishing for when they saw/heard (Laura has been left blind) "Wishes". It will always hold a special place in my heart

Last August we were in Disney celebrating our twins 3rd, Birthday. I had noted it on my AKL concierge reservation, And the staff did not acknowadge it in any way. I will be honest I was a bit disapointed. We wer eat AKL specifically at the boys request. Oh well..
We moved over to BWV on the day before thier Birthday, and I had preordered 2 little cakes from the bakery to be delivered the next day. I checked in with my fave CM Lorenzo. went off to MGM to spend the day. less than 2 hours into the day. One of the boys got a straw to the eyeball and we wound up in the ER. For 8 hours. Family had o take the other twin back to Boardwalk and explain thier way into being given access to the room. Which Lorenzo did. In the process of getting access to the room Mom canceled the cakes for the next day. Citing the accident and our uncertainty of what the next day would bring. Lorenzo said not to worry he would see it was canceled.

The next day after a long morning at the eye surgeons.
We came back to the room, to Find a complete birthday party for the boys. Balloons, streamers, blowouts, confetti, napkin fans in all colors, 2 cards from the boardwalk staff. Stitch mugs that the balloons were tied onto. and 2 personnalized cakes. After a horrid 2 days for the boys. This absolutely made my week.
If you have the fortunate to deal with Lorenzo, you are indeed lucky, he is a true sweetheart.

I wholeheartedkly agree that your story is the best testament to what a little pixie dust, Magic Kingdom Magic, good thoughts, and prayer can do! I hope Laura continues on her road to recovery!
