Resort Room Inventory (when sold out)...

Hi.. does anyone know what companies have resort room invetories besides the disney company?

Like expedia or something?

2 of my days are sold out for the GCH but I know some hotels say they are sold out, when in really there does exist rooms with a travel company, a company that pre-bought a chunk of rooms.... am I rambling?

I am not sure if disney does this or not... I hope someone understands what i am asking.

I would try looking at Expedia, Travelocity, any big name travel agencies like AAA buy blocks of Disney rooms.

Most of the big names ie Expedia, Orbitz, AAA etc prob have some reservations still available

The one thing Im not sure of is how long they get their chunk for whether they have to give them up at a certain date (ie 2 weeks before) or if they never give them "up"

One thing that has been found (not with disney per say) is that they only release a certain amount of rooms to sources at a time. ie one hotels web site said none available but a call to the hotel found they still had plenty of rooms available and they "released" a bunch more openings to the website.

As to know who has other "rights" to the rooms to sell- I bet if you call and ask theyd have an idea if not plug around and see what you can find
