Resort Recommendation

Hi! I am planning a trip trip for myself, DH, DD, DS (age 3 & 5 at travel date) and my parents. I have been outvoted to staying at WDW the whole trip and we will be doing the Disney 4 night cruise too That said, the concession to me is 4 nights at Disney, my choice.

I am pretty sure that I want a 2 bdrm home away resort for the kitchen and laundry - now need to pick which one.

This is a call to all the experts out there on a resort recommendation based on the age of the kids. Please HELP!!!

With kids that age, I'm thinking your favorite park will be MK, right?

If so, I'd go with Villas at Wilderness Lodge. It's a short boat ride to MK (which is fun for kids that age all by itself). So it's easy to get back to VWL if the kids need an afternoon nap.

The Lodge also is very kid friendly, with duck races in the stream in the afternoons, Hidden Mickey searches, and they will absolutely have a blast eating at Whispering Canyon restaurant.

I think VWL is your best bet.

I would have to second what granny said regarding which park you plan on visiting most. If it is MK, then VWL is the way to go. If it is Epcot or MGM, then BCV or BWV may be best. If none of that matters to you, then read about each of the resorts and look at pictures to determine which would be a better 'personality' fit for you and your family. Each resort definitely has its own personality.

Overall, you really can't go wrong with a 2BR at any DVC! HAVE FUN!
