We are traveling in Feb with our inlaws, and are trying to find a place to stay. We like the thought of staying at a villa...but my dh is a bit nervous about buying points off a stranger in good faith. Do people selling points have any kind of contract? We aren't opposed to staying at the cabins at FW, but my dh isn't really sold on that either. I tried punching in the info for a suite at All Stars Music on the WDW site, but it came back with nothing. Did I search in the wrong resort? What is your recommendation?

You may have to call for the suite. You could also book 2 rooms. Nothing wrong with telling the inlaws to beat it once in a while. This way they would have their own room.

A 2 bedroom villa in a DVC property would be wonderful. Check out the rent/trade board and insist on a contract and talking to the rentor. Or *gasp* look at the many lovely 3 bedroom condos and townhouses with splash pools offsite at www.windsorhillsrent.com

I think you've got all the onsite options -- 2 rooms, family suites, cabins, and DVC rentals.

Sometimes off-site works better with family. You do have to consider the parking fee, unless someone has an Annual Pass.

Another possibilty off-site is Cypress Pointe thru hotelkingdom.com

We are staying in a deluxe room at WL in Dec. It is essentially two rooms with one bathroom. One room has two queen beds and TV. The other has a queen size sofa bed and tv, fridge and microwave. These rooms are also now all club level (concierge). Something to consider.

When trying to book an All Star Family Suite first punch in dates and select All Star Music. A new screen should appear asking which type of room, standard , preferred or Family Suite.
Punch in Family Suite.
If you still have problems you can call Disney or feel free to PM me.

DH and I stayed in a Family Suite at All Star Music ( a value resort) last Sept. (2006)

We really enjoyed the Queen size bed, the kitchenette with the microwave, having a sofa and cushioned chair to sit on and relax after a day at the parks before retiring for the evening.

I thought the pullouts very comfortable.

They are designed so the back cushion and seat cushion of the pullout support the pullout. There is no meatle bar to hurt the sleepers back.

We went 2yrs ago with my inlaws and did 2 room it worked better for our family. It keep a little extra space and a little privacy from them as well. The kids loved it as well cause they could go to Grandpa and Grandmas room for a little get away from mom and dad.....
