If you were me, and you wanted to visit the Wilderness Lodge 12/5-12/8, how would you go about finding the most inexpensive rate?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. :listen:

With the Best Rate Program on Disney's website with your SP is the cheapest but I always use the FL rate because you can still cancel without the penalty if cancelling 5 days out. With the BRP you will lose 1 night deposit.

I actually just tried your dates and nothing is coming up for either rate. They are suggesting FW cabins.
SP rate is $34 cheaper for FW than FL rate. But again you don't risk the night's deposit if you cancel 5 days out or modify.

I tried to pull up FL rates for WL for my dates last night (12/14-12/20) and couldn't get WL to come up either...just FW. I'm wondering if, b/c it's such a popular resort, they have recinded the discounts for it? Just a guess.

Try AAA. I also checked with Disney for POP Century trying to apply Fl. Resident discount code. They said none were available. I asked about AAA discount and Disney told me the same thing-none available. I called AAA directly and booked through them, no problem with AAA discount. Strange how Disney won't give you the AAA discount but if you contact AAA directly, they will.

I think the WL is already heavily booked for all the days for this December. There haven't been any AP rates showing for it since at least mid-July. (I'm not sure if or how many there were to start with). It may be tough to get a room there at all, even for rack rate for your dates, let alone a discounted one.

Hope I'm wrong - good luck!

Thanks, I appreciate all of these comments. I guess my first problem is availablity!

In addition, I am (shockingly) unable to find the area to check FL rates on their website. Can someone direct me? Thanks again!

It's on the main WDW page about midway down on the right. I know, weird...you expect to find it in a pull down menu or submenu. Here's the link..hope this helps!
