You can pre-book but you can also do it when you get there. It was "offered" to us last year, but we only had another day or two left and I didn't know anything about it so I gave it a miss. But it did stick in my mind for a while. The reason I mention that it was offered is that they obviously weren't fully booked and it was Easter time and stil quite busy. I would think it isn't that hard to get in based on that and the fact that it isn't very well publicised. There is no mention on the PhotoPass website and I have learnt that it is totally separate, although a Photopass product, which could be why. If you do decide to book you can't do so more that 30 days before. I am guessing this is before the photo session, not before your check in date as it does not appear to be linked to your arrival or indeed have any connection to staying on Disney property.

In 2008/9 when they were still launching this and they were doing it for $25. The initial trial was free for guests to add to their normal park Photopass CD. It was obviously popular and they now charge more: $49 for the photo package or $99 for the photo and CD package. The number is 001 407-824-1700

When you bear in mind the location and setting I don't think $99 is too bad a price.
You're almost always guaranteed perfect weather, and the fact that you are on holiday just gives you a 'glow' that your wouldn't normally have in a studio back in the UK.
Certainly something worth considering I think.

Ha, Tracy, you must be spying on me. I have spent this afternoon on a thread getting the info. If you go onto StitchKingdom and go into their Photopass Guide, the resort photo session info is about halfway down the rather lengthy document, but they pretty much cover every detail and the site is kept up to date.

Now I am trying to decide which resort would be best. I though Eeyorefan might want to look at this too as she is going with the whole family and it's a really nice keepsake. I came so close to doing it last year, but I didn't feel I knew enough about it at the time.

I agree wholeheartedly. My sister and husband went to a studio and paid £75 for ONE framed 8x10 and a small maybe 6x4 print. No CD. No images to keep. Beautiful pictures but I could do the same for less in a sunny spot. And most of the year I do like to have some visual confirmation that the sun does actually still exist.

Oh I am so sorry. That was actually quite rude of me. I totally forgot about it. Glad you saw the thread. You can still book it there if you want. SInce you are there for 3 weeks if you went to find out about it on your arrival you would still have plenty time to pick a suitable date.
