Resort Opinions

My family has made 2 trips to WDW and both times we have stayed at POR. Thinking ahead to our next trip DH and I have decided to try somewhere new.
I'm looking for opinions on the resort you prefer and the reason(s) why. Please give any cons to the resort too, if you have any.
We are a family of 3. DD will be 10 at the time of our next visit if that matters.

Are you wanting to stay at the moderate resort level? If so, we think Coronado Springs is a close second to POR. If you are considering moving up to a deluxe resort, let us know.

Here are some of our favs

Mod
POR FQ Loved the small feel to this resort. The grounds are beautiful.
CSR Large resort, but good bus service and food options. Great pool area

Deluxe
WL By far our favorite resort. Just lovely all around. Easy access to MK via boat and bus. Very relaxing fell. Love the walk over to Ft. Wilderness
AKL Who doesn't like animals? More "hectic" feeling than WL but great for kids. Good food options. Is distant feeling from parks but has good bus service
Beach Club-- best pool on property. Close to EPCOT- less than 5 min walk. Fun to be on the boardwalk loop- nice early morning or late evening walk around the boardwalk. Bus service is so-so

Villas
Boardwalk Villas -beautiful resort on the boardwalk. Bus service is so-so. Pool was small for size of resort.
AKV Kidani- great rooms. Sanaa is a wonderful restaurant. Fantastic pool area for kids. Had to walk to Jambo House for quick service.
WLV- quiet

We're moderate folks, POR 3x, CSR 2x, POFQ 1x
Last time we stayed at CBR, and loved it. It is a large resort but the theming is great.

In planning my next trip, I investigated the menu (for themeing spins) at the food court. Surprise! The same menu item at CSR is $1-3 higher than at POR, CBR.

With a family of 4 that's like feeding an additional person.

Deluxe
WL By far our favorite resort. Just lovely all around. Easy access to MK via boat and bus. Very relaxing feel. Love the walk over to Ft. Wilderness

Another thumbs up for WL.

We like how it has a quiet rural feel that is similar to POR, yet it is all under one roof. The location on Bay Lake is amazing, both for its beauty and ease of quick transportation to MK, CR, and FW. It is definitely one to consider.

Love WL! The proximity to MK, taking the boat is a different pace, the themeing is awesome.
AKL is another favorite. The themeing, savannah view rooms! Only con I have is its much further out so takes a bit longer to get to other parks.
Another favorite is CBR. Love the lush landscaping, Caribbean music, pool area.
