Resort only ?

I am wanting to stay at AOA next year. I can book hotel only on April 20th for the dates I am thinking about. Does anyone know if I can add on a package to the resort only booking when the rates are out?

Also anyone have any idea what the rough difference is in a suite and a standard room?

Can't help with pricing, but I've made room only reservations then changed it to a package with dining. You have to cancel your room only res, they refund you your deposit, and you re-book a Package and have to put a new deposit down, I believe it's $200.

A bit of a hassle, I don't know why they can't just switch it over without this canceling, & re booking stuff, but it's easy enough to do. Just a bit of a pain!

It is because they use a different numbering system, in order to distinguish them from one another.

Yes, I do notice the room res # & pkg # are different. But still wish they could transfer over!!
