Resort Mug Question?

I think this would be a question for the restaurant board but I might be wrong. I know that on the dining plan, the mug comes with the quick service dining plan or the premium one, but I don't think it comes on the regular dining plan. So my question is, what is the price of the refillable mug by itself? Does it depend on the resort or is the price the same regardless of the resort you are staying in? Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe the price is the same at all resorts. I think it is somewhere in the range of $12-14. I'm not sure. The resorts all have the same mug with the exception of the Coronado (CSR)--they have their own mug.

we were there last week and the cost of the mugs is still $12.99.
I counted up all the times we used them (tried to get over there at least three times each day) so I could justify the cost of the mugs... I think we got price of each "soda" down to under $1.00. ;)

LOL, down under $1.00? The way our family drinks diet coke I think we get the price per drink down to about 10 cents by the end of our trip.:rotfl2:

I think the mugs are definitely worth getting. We get soda before heading out to the parks (well...since it's Florida, it won't be too cold for long!) and whenever we're in the hotel. They make nice souvenirs too.

Do they let you carry them into the parks? I had one before but never brought it with me. I never knew if you could or not.

That would be us, too. My kids are always thirsty at home. Gosh knows how they'd be at WDW all day. We could probably drink out the whole parks supply of soda...lol

We always put a mug or two in the stroller. Now that I'm thinking of it, without a stroller it would be difficult to find a place to put it. :confused3

It probably would be. But it'd be nice to carry in a tote bag and refill with water from water fountains when it's really hot out. Instead of buying bottles of water.

I have a c-clip and hang my empty cup from it on my small backpack in the parks.

You can also ask for a cup of ice (not from the carts) and put in your cup.

I always get a cup of coffee in the morning on our way to the parks.
Then I already have my cup with me when I return and can fill up quickly before we go to the room.

Love it! Happy planning!
