Are we able to visit hotels and boardwalk and park in their car park even if not staying? Want see Xmas decs

Also how long are you allowed park downtown disney please?

Yeah just pull up at the security booth and tell them you are going to one of the restaurants. They usually ask to see ID. I've don't it loads of times and never had an issue. Enjoy!

We have just come back. Make sure you pop into the boardwalk lobby they have a gingerbread shop and the Yacht and Beech Club have a fantastic gingerbread carousel. The Grand Floridian has the huge fantastic gingerbread house again as well. Enjoy x

be aware that deluxe hotels may put restrictions on non resident parking

it happens sometimes at peak time or during special events (for example, last november, YC/BC parking was closed to non residents on veteran's day due to a private event taking place on the beach there.)
so be prepared to face a "no" when you show up at the gate.

you are supposedely allowed to park there for 3 hours if you're a non resident.
you'll need to show ID. Don't tell that you have a dining reservation if you don't, some guards did check on a list, or by scanning my magic band last october (it's hit or miss so don't take chances). Just tell the guard you want to have a look around the resort.

you can park for free and without any time limit at DTD (a lot of parking lots are closed due to construction)

What sort of id?

We went to grand floridisn to see gingerbread house from mk yesterday but still want do few others

Where suggest park for boardwalk please

Where suggest park for boardwalk please

quick alternative parking for boardwalk would be DHS. and then take the boat from DHS' dock to BW, or walk the path from the park to the hotel

that would require paying for the parking, but if you plan on going to a park that day, you only pay once, show your parking receipt at the next park's toll booth and you'll be let in.

You could also park at Epcot and go thro the international gateway. So jealous !!
