DH, DS3 and I are taking my in-laws to EPCOT for their 1st visit in Oct. They both need frequent breaks and FIL even needs a nap during the day. We want them to have their own room and be close to EPCOT so he can rest. Does anyone have a suggestion for an inexpensive, yet close to EPCOT resort or hotel. (I know I am asking alot on the inexpensive part -- lol).

DH and I are covering the hotel, food and tickets to the park for the in-laws. DH and I already have APs but there is no discount at this time for the dates we're planning to stay there.

Thanks in advance.:)

Do you qualify for any of the discounts at Swan and Dolphin? Maybe you could rent points for the boardwalk villas or beach club villas.

If you can't afford those (which are right outside the World Showcase), I would suggest Port Orleans. The ride to Epcot is the quickest of the four parks. It's directly to the east of Epcot on the other side of whatever highway that is. Passporter also says it's the quickest rides of the other mods/values. It's really close to the entrance to epcot. The others may be close but to the back of Epcot and the buses have to go all the way around the park to get to the front.

French Quarter maybe be best for your in laws since it's so small. I do love FQ but I love Riverside more. So check that one out too in case you may like that one better.

Thanks for the advise... The rates at Swan and Dolphin may be a little steep for us as we get 2 rooms but I will check into the rates.

Hopefully, there will some AP rates in Oct that I can apply to POR.

Thanks again!!
