Resort hopping

I would like to know the best way to get from the Doubletree gest suites in Downtown Disney to POFQ. I don't know if the hotel will take us over or will POFQ come pick us up? do we need to call for a taxie or a shuttle bus. there will be 6 of us so I am not sure who to call. And has anyone done this befor ?if so what do you think the cost will be.

Do you mean transferring with your luggage?
I know that the Disney resorts will transfer your luggage while you go to the parks, but I am unsure about the DTD hotel.
You might want to just call them and ask how they handle it.

If you mean just for you to go (without luggage), you can take a boat from DTD to POFQ (a very enjoyable ride) or even take a bus to POFQ from DTD.

firstmickey gave you good advice. If you're just going to POFQ for a visit, you can get there by boat or bus from Downtown Disney. It's a beautiful and relaxing ride by boat.

No, we will be moving out of the first hotel. So we need to move all of us and the lugage. to spend the rest of our 9 days in POFQ.
And with this wonderfull Ohio wether it can't come too soon.

You'll have to take a taxi, they won't transfer your luggage from a non-Disney hotel.
