Resort Hopping ?????

On our first day we will be getting to POR about 1 1:30ish. Hopefully we can check in, if not, that's ok. We plan on visiting different resorts. We want to see as many as possible that first day. Any suggestions on how to tackle this? Can we hit all of them?

We will have a car, so we will drive to most, and use monorail for those resorts on its stop. Any advise will help. Thanks

We are planning the same thing. Right now we are due to arrive OKW around 10:30 am and plan on taking a relaxing boat to DTD and maybe have lunch. After that I was thinking of a bus to the TTC and do a monorail tour of the hotels. We would have to see how much time was left after that but we will wind up back where we can take a bus to anywhere. I think it's a great idea for a first day and my DW pretty much talked me into not having plans the day we arrive since after that it's go go go!

I resort hop on every trip.

I suggest to both of you that you make a lunch or dinner ressie at one of the monorail resorts or at Wilderness Lodge. Park in the MK lot, and use WDW monorails and boats to explore the MK resorts. Your parking pass will be active from the moment you check in, and allow you free parking in the theme park lots.

On your arrival day, also plan a meal at either Boma or Jiko, in AKL. Head over there with your car an hour or two in advance of your ressie and use the time to check the place out. It's well worth the time, and so are the restaurants!

I usually hop to the Epcot resorts during one of my Epcot park days. I leave through International Gateway, wander through Y&BC, Boardwalk, and the Swan & Dolphin, sometimes having lunch at the Dolphin Fountain (one of my favorite light eateries), then head back to Epcot later in the afternoon.

If I figured it out correctly you’ll be arriving on Monday June 9th.

MK is open until 11 PM and Wishes is at 10:00 PM.
