Resort Hoppin' with Wigd and Shocker! Contests!

I am going to have to check your TR more closely in the future because I totally missed the pictures of the girls - who are ADORABLE! and I missed the TOWL fireworks. I am so looking forward to seeing that in 15 days!!!!! :cool1:

Awww what a wonderful time you all had in the pool with those adorable girls:hug:
The TOTWL looks like a great reason to stay at BLT. :thumbsup2

Tracy
We did have a great time with the girls and the lounge is one of the best reasons to stay at Bay Lake!
I love Etsy. I had a necklace from there for my christmas present. what I really want is some Disney outfits for the girls for next summer. I figure my days of Hannah being dressed cute are numbered... so I need to do it!

Hope you enjoyed this super fast weekend... we I am back tomorrow- three full days this week for me before I get to return to my part time life!
I need to do more exploring on Etsy, I think you have a bit more time with Hanhah, (I hope). Another weekend speeding by....
Love your classroom pictures! Looks like such a fun place to learn!

I also enjoyed the 4th! Looks like a fun night with fun friends!
Thanks on the classroom, I try to make it fun! Just waiting on some cups to come in and will put up the next Disney display!
We had a great 4th!
What beautiful fireworks pictures! Brooklynn is so brave conquering the big slide!
Looked like a fun 4th of July :)

I've just started getting into Etsy- that website is a goldmine!
Even though Brooklyn is a big girl, she is just now 4 years old and did that huge slide!!
Esty is awesome and blocked at school, along with the DIS!!
What a very fun 4th of July! I love the pictures of Bella playing in the fountain - I can just imagine she was shrieking and laughing with delight. :goodvibes

The fireworks look like they were amazing!
Bella was having fun, just being a typical toddler, running from fountain to fountain! Such a doll!
I thought she would fall but she didn't!
The fireworks were beautiful!
Oh my gosh. I want to go back to second grade and be in that classroom and have a tea party with the mad hatter. Lucky lucky kids!

Your counter looks great and I love the 4th of July update, great fireworks and fun pool time! Especially the jelly ring toes.
I love dreaming up ways to bring Disney into the classroom, what better than a tea party with the Mad Hatter?
That Brooklynn with the rings on her toes was so funny!!

You know, my DD is going to start second grade on 9/7. What do you want to bet that there is no Disney in her classroom???
I know the teacher (Sarah had her too). The only Disney that was in the room in the past was Sarah's postcard she sent the class and any Disney clothes Sarah wore!

Isn't that just tragic?
I guess we have to accept that there are those that just don't get our Disney obsession and go on....
We don't get them and they don't get us.
My principal told me that I should get a patent on my Mad Hatter's Capacitea Party, but I told her that Disney would probably have other ideas.:rotfl2:
Finally got a chance to catch up! I absolutely love what you have done in your kitchen and classroom! I see lots of Mr. Potato Head parts I need to add to my collection. :rolleyes1

Your PT must know your language if he knew to give you an A for your therapy! Hope your shoulder is feeling much better. :goodvibes

Rachel
Thanks on the classroom, I got lots of compliments from parents this week at our open house!
The star students made their first potato heads on Friday. They had fun, fun, fun!!!
You know Carl made me mad this week....
He told Marc a few weeks ago that I wasn't doing nearly as well as I thought I was, I was overly optimistic, but that was the teacher in me...
Last week, after a bad day, he told me I had a bad attitude.
I just can't win with the guy...

OMG! Why did it take me so long to see this picture? I'm not sure if Wigd thinks its funny, but I sure do.

Glad you are dropping in from time to time Shocker! :thumbsup2

I think you will love Bay Lake and yes the girls are too stinkin cute!!!

What great pics of the 4th!! Bella looked so cute with the water jets & Brooklynn such a big girl going down the slide. The fireworks pics are awesome:thumbsup2

I hope you got sunshine at SAB the next day. LOVE that pool!!

If everybody was like us, even Fastpasses wouldn't help the lines and there would never be any discounts.
So, I guess we should be grateful for the non-believers, huh?
Let's just keep Disney World our little secret. ;)

That is one regret I have from the summer - not getting the Potato Heads parts. I am hoping to get some with my room money in October, though. I know they will love making their creations. You'll have to show us some of the ones your kids make. :)

I have a question for you Wigd that is not Disney related but I am just curious. Actually anybody can answer if they have ever been there. Have you ever been to Jimmy's Egg? I see they have them in Witchita, Oklahoma City and Dallas. We are getting one down the street from our place and was wondering if they were any good.

I agree with Cynthia... just putting this out there... perhaps it is Carl who is the one with the bad attitude... :rolleyes1

Hope you are back to feeling 100% soon! :goodvibes

We have them here in Wichita. They are OK, nothing spectacular. I enjoy the Popeye's omlette, made with egg beaters.

They close at 2PM, here.

Hi Anita! I just answered you on MeMom & Jill's TR, but like I said over there, I was going to post this here too:

I'd certainly love to meet up, as well! :) Our dates are Oct. 29th-Nov. 2nd, staying at Pop. What are yours?

So true, Disney is popular enough as it is, we don't need everyone crazy for it like we are....
Have you checked ebay?
You can get some really nice lots there...
Your school money will go farther and you can still have Disney parts.

I think we have been to Jimmy's Egg twice.
Both times we have been happy with our food, they do a good business.
Sending Carl the evil eye....

maybe he just needs some flashing jelly rings.
I wonder if my last client of the day appointments are part of his moodiness.
Maybe I should take him cookies.

Thanks, he has been cranky lately.
My progress hasn't been what he has hoped.
Or what I hoped for that matter.:headache:

You know Steph, that is exactly what Marc said, nothing spectacular. We haven't gone out of our way to go there. Never tried the Popeye's omlette though.

Our dates are exactly the same!
We are staying at Boardwalk.
MNSSHP on November 1st.
Planning on f&w during the day on the 1st.
:laughing: Yes, get out the angry eyes for Carl...you must have a spare pair at the school with all of your potato parts!!

Tracy
I have worn my potato head shirt to therapy and Carl didn't get the message at all....

He didn't get the Angry Eyes t-shirt :confused3 I'm thinking Carl needs some Disney magic to make his day better!!

Hope you had a great day at school!!

I can't belive he didn't get the shirt!!!!! I love that shirt!
I hope your PT gets better! Have a great week. We could get some rain from Hurricane Earl on Thu.

You must need to be a sour puss to do that kind of job. Either that or the person in the 2nd to last appointment of the day always tries his patience. I hope that it gets better though!

Cool!

We haven't decided if we're doing MNSSHP, yet. I really want to, but we're not sure if it's worth it. Is it???

We're planning F&W on the 1st, too, so maybe we could meet up there?

Here's my opinion, for what it is worth.

If you have never done it - YES!
The parade is incredible. One of the best I have ever seen.
The characters in the special costumes make for unique photo ops.
The dance parties are fun for all.
The candy stations are fun for kids.
Riding rides as walk-ons after you have done all the other stuff is nice.

If you do it, let the kids take late naps so that you can stay late and get the most out of the evening. Get there at four, ride some things until the 'party' part starts, get your candy and pictures, do a dance party, see the parade, then ride some more. We're not going this year, but only because we don't have the money, and because we need to leave some open non-park time for hanging out with Trent. If we did, we'd be going, and we've been before, so we do give it positive reviews.

And the Hallowishes fireworks too :thumbsup2
::yes:: that parade is one of the best....love the gravediggers and I may have a crush on the skeleton band :confused3:rotfl2:
I left it up to my friend that is going with me if she would be interested ( of course I was secretly hoping she would ) and she gave me the go ahead :goodvibes

Oh yeah, and the villains show at the castle - Mix and Mingle. Brooklynn calls it Mix and Meedle.

I'm thinking he got it but ignored it.....
Today was a great day, one more day closer to a nice long weekend!
I can't belive he didn't get the shirt!!!!! I love that shirt!
I hope your PT gets better! Have a great week. We could get some rain from Hurricane Earl on Thu.
We are supposed to get some rain here too, but have a nice weekend!

That wouldn't be the job for me!
I know they are helping folks but the pain they cause wouldn't be something I could do.
Cool!

We did the party in 2008 and had a blast!
So excited to go again.:goodvibes
Meeting at f&w sounds like a great plan though!

I hate it that you all can't go...
Spending time with Trent will be a bonus though!

I'm so looking forward to the gravediggers and seeing all 7 dwarfs!
Oh yeah, and the villains show at the castle - Mix and Mingle. Brooklynn calls it Mix and Meedle.
The Mix and Meedle will be a first for us!
Hi Anita! Hope your school year is off to a great start!
Time to catch up :surfweb:
Welcome back Jen!
Week 3 is almost over...
I had one stinker in my class and today was his last day. I'm still pinching myself to see if it's a dream.;)
