Resort Guest Fast Pass Reuseable?

I just got home yesterday. During the course of my trip, I noticed more than 1 guest using a little postcard sized card to get through the Fast Pass entrances and they kept the cards instead of handing them over to the FP collector. I was wondering if these were a) the special Fast Passes given when you book a resort package and b) allowed to be used for unlimited FP entries? Because if so, that would big a big factor in deciding to book at one of the on property hotels for me.

I believe you might be describing Guest Assistance Cards? Were they kind of a blue color? Those are for guests with special needs. The FP's that were given to on-site guests this summer were the size of regular FP's and you put them in the FP machines to use like a ticket.

More importantly, the special FP promotion for guests staying at on-site hotels ended after the summer. They are no longer available, so don't factor them into your decision :)

No, I think they were brown. Not sure what they were then. They were not GAC nor baby swap cards. :confused3

Hmm. The only thing I can think of that is the size of a postcard (as opposed to a ticket or FP) is the GAC. Baby swap and single rider cards are collected by the CM, not returned to the guest, as are the special FP's that are written on larger white paper that are given out if a ride breaks down with a guest on them or while they have been waiting in line etc. Either way the important thing for your post is that the on-site FP deal isn't running anymore.

I forget how big the VIP passes (called Golden Fastpass I believe?) are, maybe that is what you saw? However, it would be highly unusual to see more than one guest with those as they are very rare.

VIP fastpasses are about 2 inches wide by about 4 inches long. (Definately NOT postcard sized.) They are generally white with red. It honestly sounds more like a GAC, (tan center with blue edging) but can't think of anything else similar.

OH I see these to! I noticed them on HM and Star Tours - I did notice a pile of them at HM and they seemed to be collecting them, but not at Star Tours. I thought it interesting, but the parks were not that crowded so it didn't bother be to much!

They don't collect the VIP FPs, but they do collect other "special" FPs. They have other various colored FP that are collected, they are 1 ticket for up to 6 people. Last time we had those, they were about 2" by 6". They are not valid at Star Tours or Toy Story, but good at the other locations.

I got one of those special "ride down" fastpasses from Soarin. It was a little bigger than admission ticket size, more in the neighborhood of 2"X4" from my memory. It was from a tear off pad, white with a blue top edge and it was collected when we used it on TSMM. Well, whatever I saw, it looked like it had been folded in a pocket with a flexible center crease. I only got a good look at that one person so maybe I wasn't seeing that particular pass being used frequently around the park, just that I happened to watch a long "look and put back into pocket" moment in front of me.
