Last Spring we stayed at the All Star Music in a Family Suite. No complaints except it was far away from most attractions and limited on onsite activites. But with the cost it is worth loosing activites and driving a bit more. We are thinking about staying there anyway but I was wondering what other resorts will accomodate 5 people?

TIA

I'm no expert, but here's what I've found:

All Star Music Family Suite

POR-- some rooms have trundle beds.

Most of the luxuries... Contemporary, Poly...
and I think the cabins at Fort Wilderness.

Try the Contemporary with AAA discount; it isn't THAT much more than the other options.

Port Orleans Riverside has rooms that will hold 5 in the Alligator Bayou section. They have 2 double-beds and a trundle bed that will hold a small person. The Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and the Poly will all hold 5. They have 2 queen beds and 1 day bed. I believe all of the Boardwalk resorts will hold 5. I know at the Swan and Dolphin they will give you a cot for an extra charge. There also are the Fort Wilderness Cabins. They sleep 6.

I'm sure I'm leaving something out. But those are the ones I can think of.

The Contemporary, garden view room, during value season with a AAA discount is about $229 per weekday and $246 per weekday.

POR at the same time would be about $119 weekday/$127 weekend

When I ran the numbers last August (admittedly before this year's prices were posted), the difference for our 6 night trip was in the $300 ballpark. I think I was comparing the Family Suites (which at the time reportedly weren't elligible for the AAA discount) and Standard View at the CR.
