In an E Bay ad I saw today for a 2bdrm at OKW, the following is written....

"This unit rents for about $500 a night. This is a magnificent resort in a great location. There is a $95 resort services fee that covers early admission to the theme parks, as well as services for making advance dining reservations, golf tee times and other vacation planning. "

A $95 fee?? What in the world is this seller talking about? Looks like things everyone gets for free.

here is a link to the whole ad

Ok .. I am replying to my own question. I wrote the seller and I just got an answer. She sd it is the fee she pd to exchange thru II. That is what I thought it might be. She sd other peple have complained about it too. Seems like to me she should just absorb it into her price without mentioning it.

That particular fee is one that is charged to those that exchange in to DVC via Interval International. The ebay seller must have received an exchange to OKW (for another timeshare week he/she owns somewhere else) and is attempting to sell it for cash. It's a legitimate fee (not that II members like it) - it's not "additional profit" for the seller.

Yep. By mentioning the $95 fee, she is calling attention to the fact that she's renting out an II exchange — which is not allowed under II rules.
