We will be at WDW in September. Yahoo!!
I would really like to have dinner at Jiko. I was wondering what the childcare policy would be at Simba's Cubhouse? For now, we are planning on taking our 4y/o to dinner with us. He doesn't go to daycare/preschool, so I don't think he would be keen on us leaving him at the childcare facility. But....What if we get to the AKL and he decides that he wants to attend while we eat? IS that possible? Do I have to pay more than the set fee b/c we "dropped in"? Are you even _allowed_ to just show up?

Thanks for your reponses..

There's no extra charge, and they will take drop-ins on a space available basis. Also, they give you a pager so if there's a problem they can get in touch with you right away. September is a long way off still, my bet is by then he'll be fine with it. I'd start talking to him about it now, and about all the fun he could have with other kids. If he does "play dates" you could compare it to that.

My kids adored Simba's Clubhouse. Of all the clubs (and they have tried them all) they liked this the best. The folks who run these places are so good at keeping your child busy I do not think you will have a problem. You could easily call just a bit ahead and warn them the child might have a fear. The Clubhouse is just across the pool area and on the same level as Jiko, very close, so if you (or the child) have to bail you can easily do so.
