Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

With a BLV, I don't think there is a bad view, but with an MKV, you could possibly get a parking lot view. I loved looking at the islands. It was beautiful! I loved seeing the water show at night as well! It was so cute!

If I don't have a plan, I can't make any changes! I wouldn't be a very good RCer if I didn't have something planned so it could be changed later. My boyfriend doesn't want to strangle me yet and puts up with my obsession so I think he's a keeper. Now he's a real keeper if he puts up with me changing our reservations all the time. If he can put up with that, he can put up with anything. See, I have this all planned out. If he can put up with me changing the resort all the time, he will make a good husband. It's a test.

I would love to be a Disney Bride, but I couldn't do a destination wedding. Almost no one would come or be able to afford to come. So I will just deal with a Disney-themed wedding. Gramma approved of me having Aurora's dress as a wedding dress. I told her that I wanter her dress as my wedding dress when we were in one of the shops that had the dress in white as a display. I'm glad I got her approval! We even had a long talk about marriage and what I should look for in a husband when we were on one of the buses along with talking about my boyfriend. I think it was on the way to our dinner, but I can't remember. lol

I might do a split stay. I was thinking I would go on a Friday so I would pay higher rates at AoA since it's a Value and stay there Friday - Monday and then stay at CR Monday - Friday and leave Friday night. I think that's a good plan. I also get 8 days at Disney! I wouldn't want to do a split stay if I was just doing Monday - Friday.

Yes, that's the perfect resort plan - at least 16 months out it seems perfect. Yep, he's a keeper and I like your test, but the real test is he must love the CR

What do you mean no one would go to your WDW wedding? We'd all be there! Well, we'd make a lot of changes first, but eventually we'd all be there - I think

Good morning everyone! It looks like rain here - blech.

I went to bed thinking I shouldn't have switched from the Poly back to the WL and I'm sure the thought will be with me throughout the day.

Do any of you know of anyone who switched (or would switch) from the Poly/CL to the WL/CL and not because of cost? pas130 switched from the WL to the Poly which I bet is MUCH more common, right?

Ever since Carl (from the Poly thread) has been giving us 24-hour live feeds from his Hawaii Bldg TPV and from his premium cabana, I have really been questioning my switching in the first place. The view from the Hawaii lounge would have been amazing everyday.

Have you figured out your Europe/bare bones WDW trips? Do you need to get the airfare sooner rather than later to secure the best rate?

I've got to get out and walk before it rains...

I wondered about the switch from Poly CL to WL CL, but figured you did so because WL is so beautifully decorated during the holidays and that's where you preferred to be. Personally, nothing could entice me to switch from Poly to WL (CL or otherwise). Heck, the Polynesian vs the Wilderness Lodge? WL loses big time, but that's just my personal preference. I'd rather give up WL CL for a Poly GV. Sorry, I am no help at all.

Must run....Europe/bare bones Disney....as much as I can dream, realistically could not do a bare bones Disney trip....but hey...what exactly could a bare bone Disney trip be? (wow, bad talk about sentence structure.)

I have to say I'm pleased as punch with myself that I have no switched resorts since booking GF and Poly. Who the heck am I these days?! I don't even recognize myself

So today my brother graduates from high school. I won't be going to the graduation because they only give you 4 tickets per family. Though they give more to families with twins and triplets which is unfair because just because there are more doesn't mean they should get more. Anyways, we went out to breakfast with both sets of grandparents and my family. It was really nice! Now I have to leave for work in a little over an hour. Totally not looking forward to it.

That's ridiculous that you couldn't go. My FIL graduated from Arlington High in '58! There wasn't a Prospect High then, but my DH graduated from there. At least you got to go along for the breakfast, but not going to his graduation and then having to go to work is no fun. But, soon you'll be able to book your '12 trip so try and think about that

No, really, go ahead, I'm seriously crazy. Can we just forget that I switched from the Poly to the WL on Tuesday? Good. Because today I switched back to the Poly/CL. Again, I had the nicest CM. They make you feel like you're not a chronic changer, which I truly appreciate. But, I do wonder if they know how many times we switch? I would love to know what they actually see when they pull-up our reservations. Or maybe I don't really want to know.

DH insisted that I switch back to the Poly and asked if I was sure the WDTC would allow so many changes. He thought for sure that I was testing the system and that at some point an alarm would go off and no more changes would be allowed. Mercifully, this hasn't happened (yet) and I've had a lot of changes to this reservation:

WL/CL - BC/Deluxe room

BC/Deluxe room - YC/CL

YC/CL - Poly/CL

Poly/CL - WL/CL (again)

WL/CL - Poly/CL (again)

I'd love to know who has had more changes than that because I am certain there is someone who has had more to one reservation. Come on, fess-up (and make me feel better).

We miss you too. I remember the exhaustion of trying to do it all and feel for you. Good on not changeing resorts since I do think you are at the two best (and ones I want to stay at, may I say)

Sorry you could not go to your brothers graduation, I gather it must have been indoors? Mine was suppose to be outdoors then it rained and my school did the same gave out tickets but of course I had all my "italian" relatives show up anyhow(they can be that way Even getting in a arguement with the principle and show I have not a clue how they all got seats, I think he got scared

11/8 Booked CR TPV for 10/23-10/29

12/16 changed to CR DLX GW for 9/29-10/5(FD)

1/1 changed back to CR TPV for 9/26-10/2

1/13 changed to BCV Studio

1/21 added a day 9/26 at BCV

2/17 added a day 10/2 at BCV

3/3 changed to BC GV for 10/26-11/1

3/4 changed dates at BC GV to 10/19-10/25

No changes for 3 months although I have been checking availablity for my dates and come close about a dozen times to changeing to Poly or back to CR

They haven't banned me yet ......not that I know of

Thanks!!! She didn't have a name until the day we were "checking out" lol. I know I had 9 months and all but no one liked any of the names I chose and then when I saw her she just didn't look like any name I could think of. I chose Lily and my mom said Lilyana and so it came to be.

Since the first rooms are suppose to be ready by March 2012 (I think) I would think they should be booking in August.

I booked CSR for the first day it opened months ahead but I don't recall for sure how many months, it opened Aug 1 and I normally book at least 6 months out.

I can help...And they do see all the changes as long as it's the same ressie number I know this because I have had more than one comment on all the changes I have made Luckily I haven't maxed out , yet....Now I'm doing this on memory so dates/resorts may not be 100% accurate...but you get the idea...

When I call, I always apologize. The CMs are really funny about it. There was one time I called to change from BLT to GF and she talked me out of it, and gave me all these reasons to keep BLT. Yeah, that didn't last very long. I do wonder if they think I'm nuts though

WDWKOOK Back to Poly. YAY! Sorry it's Monday-I'm slow....I have been debating GV CL, but it's $200 more per night for the two rooms (and that's with the discount). I think we will be OK without the CL Until I read your TR, then I'll upgrade

Just an update to my "Change list" I was looking at PP from 10/2010 and it looks like I booked Poly to WL to GF TPV (nonCL) then SL...etc
