Resort Changers--The Saga Continues.....

What do you mean no one would go to your WDW wedding? We'd all be there! Well, we'd make a lot of changes first, but eventually we'd all be there - I think

I'll be there too! I just have to tell DH that I'm going to a friends wedding and then not tell him where it is.

With a BLV, I don't think there is a bad view, but with an MKV, you could possibly get a parking lot view. I loved looking at the islands. It was beautiful! I loved seeing the water show at night as well! It was so cute!

I might do a split stay. I was thinking I would go on a Friday so I would pay higher rates at AoA since it's a Value and stay there Friday - Monday and then stay at CR Monday - Friday and leave Friday night. I think that's a good plan. I also get 8 days at Disney! I wouldn't want to do a split stay if I was just doing Monday - Friday.

Good morning everyone! It looks like rain here - blech.

I went to bed thinking I shouldn't have switched from the Poly back to the WL and I'm sure the thought will be with me throughout the day.

Do any of you know of anyone who switched (or would switch) from the Poly/CL to the WL/CL and not because of cost? pas130 switched from the WL to the Poly which I bet is MUCH more common, right?

Ever since Carl (from the Poly thread) has been giving us 24-hour live feeds from his Hawaii Bldg TPV and from his premium cabana, I have really been questioning my switching in the first place. The view from the Hawaii lounge would have been amazing everyday.

I love Poly. So for me I would only think about booking WL but wouldn't actually do it.

Hey guys! I miss you all something fierce. Things have been crazy hectic around here. I'm either working, pumping, nursing, or washing bottles and pump parts.

I have to say I'm pleased as punch with myself that I have no switched resorts since booking GF and Poly. Who the heck am I these days?! I don't even recognize myself

You could change you dining around maybe.... Even without actual ADR's it's still fun.

No, really, go ahead, I'm seriously crazy. Can we just forget that I switched from the Poly to the WL on Tuesday? Good. Because today I switched back to the Poly/CL. But, I do wonder if they know how many times we switch? I would love to know what they actually see when they pull-up our reservations. Or maybe I don't really want to know.

Yeah for back to the Poly! I am totally in favor of any switches you make you know.

And I hate to tell you this, but they do know. The one time I called to switch (after FD came out and I was switching three to four times a day) The CM apologized to me saying she had to go through several pages of my changes in order to pull up my current plans.

So they do have a record of all of the changes we make. Scary, isn't it?

The last trip was,

AsSpo and CSR KB Pref

AsSpo and CSR WV Pref

And I lost track. I know at one time I had three ressies, but it's kind of a blur to me.

And this trip is boring. OKW and AKL CL. That might still be HHI instead but I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure they will put up with our compulsive changing so long as we still go through with one one them and they make their thousands off us

Two months is way too long to wait and book! I don't want to pay the highest rate and call for a room only since I'm too poor. And my boyfriend told me he is grateful that I haven't been talking about Disney a lot. Just wait until I book my room. I'm gonna talk his ear off. I wonder if they will allow people to book at AoA when August comes around.

Thanks!!! She didn't have a name until the day we were "checking out" lol. I know I had 9 months and all but no one liked any of the names I chose and then when I saw her she just didn't look like any name I could think of. I chose Lily and my mom said Lilyana and so it came to be.

That's a very good name. My oldest boy is Benjamin Johnathon Michael, he was born on what would have been my grandpa Johns 100th birthday so I had to add the John. And because the gal who writes down the names showed up at 3:00 am (no lie) I spelled Jonathan wrong.

And then because the oldest had two middle names.... the youngest was named John Alfred Gleason. (Ex-DH picked those)

WDWKOOK Back to Poly. YAY! Sorry it's Monday-I'm slow....I have been debating GV CL, but it's $200 more per night for the two rooms (and that's with the discount). I think we will be OK without the CL Until I read your TR, then I'll upgrade

Just an update to my "Change list" I was looking at PP from 10/2010 and it looks like I booked Poly to WL to GF TPV (nonCL) then SL...etc

I am one of those people who keep records and files for everything, comes form my days of working in offices and having to be detail oriented, I drive DH nuts

Here, I have been scheming how to "get back" my room that I let go
(the GF RPC queen deluxe to the GF SL) because of DS' wanting to transfer to another college and DH being a meanie "TOOT".

So, I'm thinking of doing a couple of nights at the Swan, super deal with points, and then going to the GF.
Hopefully I can get the GF RPC again on the BB.

What do you ladies think?

I love talking about my future wedding that probably won't happen for like a billion years. I keep telling my mom that, but she thinks I will get married soon. Though she says that if I marry my current boyfriend I will be his problem instead of hers.

Knowing my mom, it's not that. Though I wish. It's her personality. It's the way she thinks. She is very traditional. While I do want to get married ASAP, I know I'm not ready for marriage.

I was thinking either October 5 - 12 (5-8 AoA, 8-12 CR) or 12 - 19 (12-15 AoA, 15-19 CR).

Oh I think I am in love. That room is beautiful. I want to someday stay at GF during Christmas season and now I know what room. This is crazy but I am thinking maybe cancelling my Oct trip and booking for Nov-Dec 2012 at GF. I can not wait to show DH those pics

In 2008 I came into some money and was all set to buy myself when Ddil talked me out of it since she works for ESPN and gets Disney perks. While we did benefit traveling to Disney in 2009 with Ddil and DS who has since passed away I doubt we will every vacation again with her.

As far as DVC goes, I just went ahead and purchased DVC with the promise to DH that we could vacation anywhere with the points. But, since he has no idea how the points work, I just use them when I actually want to use them. So far they have come in handy, but I did have to sell of the main part of my BLT contract to buy the stupid cottage.

Thanks! and I'm glad they sound good. I just gotta pick which week I want to go, but I'm glad I got your seal of approval. I really want to stay at both so what better way to do it than do a split stay?

I wonder if they are going to have it where you can pick which section you want to be in since they are going to have a TLM, FN, TLK and Cars sections. I'm debating between TLM and TLK. I guess it would depend on what the rooms look like and what I would see looking out of the window.

I'm still not ready for marriage I will also do some wishful thinking for a Disney Wedding. There's a WDW honeymoon registry too! A coworker showed me his. I got him gift certificates for Narcoosee's (his and his fiancee's fav WDW restaurant)

I can't stand when the site goes down. I sign in every day just to see the confirmations from my trips I hope the site comes back up so you can check on the GF room

I also got Mickey Mail today. Dodged a bullet cause it was about my Nov. trip that DH doesn't know about yet DS 2 distracted him because when he saw the monorail on the envelope he ran to the DVD player yelling "DISNEY". We watch the planning DVD EVERYDAY!!!! kaffinito I'm so glad I ordered another one! DH won't dare throw this one away since other than Toy Story 3, the ONLY DVD that stops temper tantrums
