Well as you can see I added a second countdown ticker which means we are confirmed for the Beach Club in a Club Level - Lagoon View, from August 31st - September 4th.

You are definitely a member of the RCC (Resort Changers' Club). Congratulations. Are you and your parents excited? Are you sure you don't want to book the Deluxe room since it's actually cheaper than the std. lagoon view and it has 500 sq. ft. Vs. 380 sq. ft. ?

That's where it all starts. First, you "consider" another resort and then before you know it - BAM! You've gone and switched. Anyway, to me you've switched because you've gone from "CR Fan" to "BWI Fan" - that counts! You're in the club.

Oh, and while there isn't a secret password or handshake in this club, you do need to have all the WDTC/CRO phone prompts memorized and know the answers before the automated "booking bot" finishes her questions.

I called this morning and a one bedroom suite is only available, but I don't think she checked with the pin because the price was the same as on the Disney website without a discount. I'll call back a bit later and see if someone will be able to check with the pin.

Though something was wrong with their system because when I keyed in my reservation number, the automated voice couldn't read it. It was weird.

Had their Deluxe Rooms all been located on the 5th floor by the lounge we would have and my Dad didn't want to risk getting a room on the 1st floor. However the Lagoon View was only $44.00 per night which is not that bad, plus I am guessing the Standard Room is around the same size as the room we had at the Boardwalk Inn this past December. We are also very excited and this means we can now reserve the locations we plan to stay at off I-75 since we are driving down, because those needed to wait until we reserved our second WDW resort reservation.

Now as for the discounts at Royal Palm or Sugar Loaf this is weird. I remember you saying you want to stay at either one from Aug 26th - 29th. Well as I type this I am on te WDW website looking at the special offer page listing the discount. Well for those dates Royal Palm and Sugar Loaf are both sold out under the discount. However before I accidently put in leaving on September 9th but still checking in on August 26th and with those sets of dates both Club Level buildings are available. So that doesn't make a lot of sense.

Well no matter the reason those rooms should be available no matter what day you want to check-out. Although have you thought about calling their reservation number and telling them that information?

Their advice is to change my email address. This has happened to me before, and I ended up having to re-register thanks to the Disney family site. And now it looks like I'll have to again. I really do think I broke it though...

I wish that I could say that this has never happened to me but....alas...it has. I couldn't remember if I was booked at OKW or SSR a few years back....and ended up at Kidani..... I'm starting to feel the same way this year. It's the 9th graders....blaming it on the 9th graders .

Now when I told my Dad about that he said why don't you reserve Royal Palm for the day you want to check-in and select a date where you can check-out to make sure it's available. Then once it's reserved you can modify your reservation to check-out earlier or just check-out early on whatever specifc day you need to.

I got into the site on my tablet (yeah!) but it's still not showing availability with the discount. (boo!) Everything is still available with rack rate, so I might have to wait until the AP rates come out before booking.

I'm going to call them tomorrow to ask about GF- I have to call tech support again anyway to find out why I can't get into anything on the regular site. Thanks for all of your help!

Did you try looking up August 26th - September 9th, because as I said before both Royal Palm and Sugar Loaf was available for those dates.

I called today and still no availability for my dates at either RPC or SL in August with the discount. I'm just going to keep trying.

And I was told that they are having "trouble with the system" right now. Not telling how long that will last.

I also cancelled my other ressies and booked a water view king room at CSR for my last three days. It goes against my rule of trying one new resort and doing one favorite resort for a split stay, but what the heck - at least I can try two new resorts out - and if I don't have a fab time at either of them at least I'm at Disney!

The bummer of it was that I had to cancel that cabana at the Poly. But - I did book two premium chairs with umbrella at Typhoon Lagoon, so at least I get to try that out too - and I saved 60 bucks!

So no more switching unless AP rates or a discount comes out for my April trip dates. Then look out!

Since we made our reservation at the Beach Club I have been able to sleep better, because before it was actually done I was going over so many things in my head like should we stay there before the Boardwalk or after and what type of Club Level room did we want.
