I love this thread...its home...I havent visited in such a long time....I started the original Confessions of the Resort Changer in 2007 along with stepdisney...there is no cure!!
For my Jan stay for Marathon weekend, I must have changed resorts 5 times and changed the same week I arrived to POFQ~ !! Booked a 3 night Dream...next Feb and already changed staterooms at least 6 times! LOL THink I am done....will be trying to change my Sept stay on 2/28...lol.when its the 7th mth mark for DVC.....
IF there were so many great resorts.....it wouldnt be so hard!!!!! THe resort is half your vacation, at least....hope everyone is doing ok and not stressing too much on their resort choice

My SISTER in resort changing, the queen of all resort changers WHERE have YOU BEEN??? I have held it down over here but miss you both. This year is a super big change year for me and I need your advice.

Still booked at CR though I am also booked at BC.... Two codes, two different arrival and departure dates within the same time frame.....WHAT is WRONG with MEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I need an intervention. I really cannot make up my mind......and I am considering Kidani village.....somewhere in the back of my head is that voice saying you LOVE Kidani....GO for it.....Someone make the voices stop......

I really don't want to have to change again. I thought I was set. I love the Poly....but then I got to thinkin'.... This just never ends. I should have known better. My ressies are never set in stone until I check in! Even then, I've pulled a switcharoo because I was highly displeased with WL.

I have been AWOL....my last trip was in OCT...and I didnt change at all...lol..but my Jan trip I changed mods back and forth up until almost arrival day! AND I got a new room at FQ due to my persistance in the art of resort changing
I booked a 3 night Dream next Feb and have changed staterooms at least 10 times I think....and I am ready to change as soon as I can for this Sept! LOL

Boy..you are in a pickle....I love Kidani too....tough choice...when do you have to decide?

Changed my BLT from BLV to TPV. Couldn't help it.....never stayed in ANY TPV resort. It was available today. I have been checking everyday since I noticed they released the rooms under the 40% discount. CM said I was very lucky to snag it. They have been very good with all my changes, no attitudes or anything. They must be used to me.....I can't wait until Summer

Kidani rocks. I know that doesn't help you...Those voices are soooooooooooo persistent. I go over my trip at least daily, playing with codes and numbers. Hope I'm done now that I changed again.....Go with your gut, if you want Kidani do it! I never did CR before, but I enjoyed Kidani more than BCV (never stayed in BC). I contemplated Kidani when I decided to do a Villa, but this is my first time at a MK resort.

I'm currently in Resort Changing Rehab. It's a painful disease to cure. I rented points for my March and my May 2011 trips... and I can't turn back. Prior to renting I had POP booked for March, but I rented Kidani points for the same price. Then for May I booked the Grand Floridian, Changed to Bay Lake Towers, then to Contemporary, then I went to rent BLT points, entered a contract, then when they went to book it (delayed by a few days and didn't find out till too late and still no explanation why since I sent all the $$) there was no BLT available. So I had already canceled my ressie with the 30% deal and the deal expired. I was stuck with Kidani again (twice in 6 weeks). So I'm locked, can't change (unless my waitlist comes thru) and stuck with what I have. It's like a sick detox that I don't have full control over switching. I've taken this anger out on my ADRs, lol.

I've been around - I am somewhat reformed these days. Not Princess either, just Duchess will do. You're the Princess nowdays! I only have a short list of 6 resorts for the second half of my 5 day solo trip in April. (And shhh! Don't tell on me, but the first 2 days I'm booked at AsSpo - hee hee)

OK so I changed my whole trip AGAIN. This was partly thanks the my DH who cut down our trip, so we are giving up some days to Universal (DH and DS 9 insisted) Not that I don't like Universal, BUT it cuts in on my Disney. We will stay at one of their hotels while we go to US. Sooooooooooooooooo now it will be Aug 28-Sept 1st at WDW. Instead of my split stay BWI/BLT, I picked GF CL (2 rooms since we are 2 adults, 5 kids). I am nervous as I really wanted BLT with the TPV. BUT my DD 6 (the OFFICIAL Princess of the family) handpicked GF. She loved the pictures on all ears. Will this be it????

I'm surprised I've been set on the Poly for this long. I do of course have the itch to switch again... There's just no hope for me! And as soon as an AP rate comes out I'm sure I'll be playing around even more. Is there some kind of 12 step program I can join?

i'm back. i keep checking our pin code and now CR Atrium Club level is coming up available for our trip next week. it works out to be $140 more per night then we are paying for a 1 BR suite at SSR, but to be on the monorail, with club level and views of the magic kingdom every night is very tempting. i'm not sure if my wife will go for it, but i'm going to try.

So I HATE GF. Have I ever mentioned that? I think the theming and decor is just BUT I was looking and saw Sugar Loaf CL is $100 less than Poly CL which got me thinking HMMMMMMMM would that REALLY be so bad?!

I am so totally with you on the decor of the GF!

BUT - I still think they have the best CL, and I'm willing to overlook the frufru rooms for that.

So what are your other choices?

Well here's our story. It's DS who will be 7, DD who will be around 7 months, and myself. If it's just us we can upgrade no problemo. Right now we're booked at the Poly. We are definitely staying on the monorail since I have the 2 kids and no one to help with the stroller and other child nonsense you have to lug around with you when traveling with kids.

However, my mom may be coming, or both of my parents. If it's just my mom she's welcome to join us in our room. If BOTH of them come there's no way we're all rooming together unless we upgrade to CL to give us some extra space. My parents are on a tighter budget than I am. I was going to give them some money towards their trip. So basically I need to know who is or isn't coming so I can proceed to flip flop on resorts until my heart's content without worrying about bothering other people on my reservation. Maybe them coming is the kind of rehab I need!

Ok DH said I can upgrade to a deluxe now I am confused on which one. DS wants to stay at the "red and white one" (BWI). I like the BC myself decisions, decisions....
