Last March (2001) we stayed at Coronado Springs for 2 nights, then moved to the Boardwalk in for 5 nights. We wanted to get the 7 night UPH for our entire stay. We went to Guest Services at Coronado the frst night we arrived and were told we could only get the UPH for 2 nights, then would need to buy another 5 night one at Boardwalk. This resulted in $100 more per person. Since this was ridiculous since we were staying at Disney resorts both parts of the stay and we only splitting it because would couldn't get a room for the whole stay at either resort, so we thought we'd try both. Well, we had dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fare at the GF so we left without getting the passes and after we ate we asked Guest Services there about getting a 7 night pass to see if they said the same thing as at Coronado. They said we should be able to get 1 7 nght pass, not 2 separate ones but that she couldn't do it but we should try at the Boardwalk. So we went over to the Boardwalk next at about 11pm and the nicest CM I've even met helped us instantly. (Elizabeth from LaMarque, TX!) We explained that we would be checking in there in 2 days and that we wanted the pass to start the next morning since it was already so late. So she did it all, while another CM was telling her that it was an impossibility. She said she had done it a few other times before and the only difficulty would be that we'd have to have a separate card for the passes than our room key once we switched hotels. This was fine for us so she crated the passes and called Coronado to have them activate it on our room keys. So it's just a warning that this might happen at Wilderness Lodg, but if so ask other CMs cuz oe of them is bound to know how to create the pass even though you'll be checking out that day.
