This stinks!! We have been waiting for almost an hour for service to Downtown Disney from BWV. Buses was called when we arrived.ultiple buses for MZk amnd AK have come by. Finally, a driver called for a DTD bus. It arrived full, so my family is STILL waiting!!

We have NOT had a Magical Experience.

Oh, the first bus drives claimed to be full. Although, no scooter were Onboard and he proceeded to board able bodied guests. Is this new policy/protocol for Disney?

That's why I always rent a car, even at BWV. Sorry you are having problems.

Was the bus already full with seated passengers? I know they won't unload a bus to put a scooter on.

We have a car, but this scooter won't disassemble. We are only here for two days and the minimum was three.

Someone was seated in the scooter section. They loaded all other passengers at the stop. Supposedly one bus skipped us twice? Now, trying to get to MK. I feel bad, that my family felt, they needed to wait for me....such a short trip. I never imagined, it would take soooo long. Services seem to have been cut back in numerous areas :(

Bus service to dtd is always bad, scooter or not. I've waited over an hour for a bus and have had to squeeze on it. If the first driver couldn't get you on he should have called for a bus to get you.

They did....two of them. Also, had a CM call...twice. It was pretty unbelievable and frustrating.

Yeah, DTD transportation is the pits. The only way to do DTD in my opinion is to rent a car or take a cab. Sorry you had such a bad experience. Many of us have been there.

That's kind of sucky!!! There is signage right on and above those seats that state able bodied guests may have to get up to enable the seating area to be used for ECVs/wheelchairs! Those people should have been asked to get up! The only time that wouldn't work would be if there were already ECVs in place!! After all...those people sitting were only going to the S/D...BW is supposed to be the first to be picked up, first to be dropped off.
I would most certainly be sending off an email to Disney! That's unacceptable.

That happened to us at akv last January. Huge wait got the right bus and 3 went through that could not take mom. They kept promising that one would be sent or we would have hust gone for the car.

I'm sorry for your frustrating start to the day!!

i always try to avoid those seat since, as goofy4tink said, it states you WILL be asked to move if needed!

you had a triple whammy.. that is the 1st issue. the 2nd is bus service to DTD is awful. and when the bus finally comes, it goes totally out of the way, north on bonnet creek , east on vacation club way,e tc. SO far out of the way!

3rd bus service at the Crescent lake resorts is awful, period.
we have stayed at dolphin 2X, BCV once, and BWV 2X. LOVE LOVE!!! the location. we plan out epcot, DHS days on that leg of the trip.. we do a split stay and stay elsewhere on our MK, AK, DTD days. walking and boat? WONDERFUL!! buses? not so much.

so sorry that happened to you...
