resort and theme park view the same thing?

In our Disney paperwork, our view is listed as "resort view." However, we paid for a theme park view. When I asked our TA about it, she said that they were considered the same thing. I just wanted to double check that and make sure 'cause we are *so* looking forward to a good view since we plan to spend some time at the resort.
