Hello everyone,

I am considering booking the Residence Inn LBV for our upcoming stay in Nov. Has anyone stayed there or heard anything about it? It will be DH, DD (4), DMIL and myself. It seems a little pricey, but the free hot breakfast makes it better.

Thanks so much!

If this is the one on Palm Pkwy, we stayed there a few years ago using Marriott points. Nice 2 BR/2 BA place, small kitchen, living room, internet, with breakfast, decent pool. Good location (Palm is back way to SW) and easy to DTD entrance. FWIW.

If this is the one near SeaWorld we had a very nice stay there last October. We paid around £45 ($90) for a Queen suite - it had two queen size beds, wonderfully kitted out kitchenette complete with full size fridge/freezer, plates, dishes, glasswear, cutlery (silverwear!) etc, nice bathroom, free internet connection (always useful to email the friends and relatives back home in the UK as to what a lovely time/weather we're having;) ).

I had specifically asked for a quiet room since I had read it was near a main road - we have a lovely pool view room, top floor, didn't hear a sound all the time we were there.

The pool was a nice size, breakfasts were free from the buffet each morning (hot and cold stuff) -although VERY busy over the weeked. There was a pizza stall and burger type food at a little shop near the pool.

All in all, if we wanted a hotel in Orlando, we would definitely stay there again. In fact, we were so impressed we have been looking at a Residence Inn for our August trip when we're looking to stay up near Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale - but none have the ocean view I want!

We've stayed there (LBV) several times, the most recently a week ago. Very nice! It has one of the better breakfasts, too, even for Res. Inn (we stayed at a different Res. Inn at the end of our trip which wasn't as nice, the one on Universal, but then again we were using points and couldn't be picky). I love the K matress, it has some foam in it and is so comfy. Pool area is nice too.

Thank you everyone for responding. You have put my mind at ease.
