hi. how does it work (if at all) for one to book thru Costco, then reshop when onboard for better price with OBB? I booked on opening day and am considering transferring to Costco, but want to reshop in July when onboard for 10% discount. I wouldn't want to jeapordize ability to reshop by transferring to Costco.

Well, what you would do is go ahead and see if booking onboard will save you anything. If it does, you make the reservation (I believe you should name Costco at the time of booking). Then, once home, ask your TA (Costco) to reconcile the two reservations. I've read that is the best way to keep your same room and dining seating, and any reservations you may have already made on the original reservation. Otherwise, you lose all that.

I made an online DCL booking opening day (last week) and am considering transferring to Costco. I would be reshopping the cruise onboard in 2 months (rebooking existing reservation with OBB while onboard). I booked opening day in case prices went up. If prices are the same, it's worth it to rebook while onboard to get almost $800 off the cruise with OBB 10% discount. I want to know if transferring existing reservation to Costco (or other TA) negates being able to reshop while onboard.
