reserving the ME bus

I have a couple of reservations booked at my home resort for a couple of friends and their families, they plan on using the Magical Express from the airport to the resort. In the past I would always call and reserve the ME, I discovered that the ME can also be reserved on the DVCmembers website. Has anyone ever reserved on the website, if so did everything work out for you, or should I just pick the phone up and reserve through Member Services.

MS is usually busy during the month of January as people are booking December vacations. If you only have a few people to make DME reservations for, use the website. You will have to re-enter all information for each person that will be using DME, so that probably could be time consuming.

I've done my reservations through the web site a few times when it was tough for DH to get through to Member Services. It worked out just fine - you get an e-mail confirming they have received the request. And in a day or two you get another e-mail confirming that it has been processed.

This was our experience is well. I put in the request on-line on 12/30/08 for our upcoming stay. I put in under my name with my DH as a guest. It worked fine and I was not required to do one for each of us. I believe that everyone in the party just needs to be under the same confirmation/reservation number that was originally booked. If there are separate numbers, then the information must be entered separately for each person. We received an e-mail almost immediately comfirming that the request was received. I received the packet in the mail with the luggage tags by the end of that week. It was very quick and easy.
