Reserving at AK Villas

Hey all,

I haven't posted much but I wondered about renting points for a vacation in June of 2009. We wanted to stay 6/14/09 - 6/21/09 in a studio value accomadation and 6/21/09 - 6/26/09 in a 1 bedroom value accomadation. Would I be able to make the 7 month out reservation on 11/14/08 or do I have to wait until 11/26/09? Do I have to make two reservations or just one? At 7 months out should I be able to find something fairly easily? Can I reserve the Disney Dining Plan later or do I have to do it when I make the reservation? Can I get the DDP or does the person I purchase points from have to reserve it for us?

If you rent from a DVC member with AKV points they can book at 11 months. They can also help you arrange DDP. I believe all you have to do is give 1-2 days notice to purchase DDP and pay for it when you check in.

You may want to post your questions over on the DVC Rent/Trade board area. There's a lot of good info there.
As far as when you can book, if you find a DVC owner, who owns at AKL, you should be able to book at the 11 month window. The owner can also get you put on the DDP as well.
