hello!

I just paid for my trip in FULL (YIPEE) for 9/08! Over the past few days, I have called WDW reservations about changes to my trip etc (thanks to the free dining- we upgraded to a mod hotel) anyways, everytime I call they ask if I have made dining res yet.. I haven't!!!

I just don't know WHERE to go for character dining that would be best for my 2 boys (3&6)- ANY SUGGESTIONS!?!?!?!?!?!

btw: my dh and myself haven't been to WDW in over 10 years so we don't remember much!

TIA

Okay, we will be there 9/6-9/13 and we have our ADR's booked. You really need to book them, as most of the good restaurants/times are already booked. Although, you should keep calling back and checking for cancellations, because they do open up.

Our son is 4, daughter 1 and this will be our third time going. Really most character dining, except for princesses will probably be fine for your sons.

I would suggest Ohana for breakfast with Stitch, Mickey, etc. Stitch is very playful. They also have a parade for the kids.

We also really enjoyed Garden Grill with Chip and Dale, Mickey, Goofy.

We have also done Chef Mickeys but felt the characters were a little rushed there compared to our other meals.

Crystal Palace has good food and was fun, and has the pooh characters, so if they are tigger fans this is good for them.

This year we are trying Donalds Sarari Breakfast at Animal Kingdom. They are supposed to do a parade around the restaurant with the kids & characters. We are also doing Hollywood & Vine for breakfast with Little Einsteins and Jo Jo & Goliath.

I am sure as my daughter gets older, we will be trying those princess meals.

But for boys any of the non princess meals will probably be just fine.

we liked Crystal Palace as well. We had a chef Mickey and CP ressies last year and I liked both but felt more rushed at Chef M's.

Keep in mind both are buffets and you may prefer a family skillet restaurant where you can sit and not have to refill your plate.

We decided to try LTT for that reason and also making another trip to CP this year.

I'd call and see what is available at this point but don't get too discouraged if you don't get your first choices. I made all my ADR's in MAy of last year and still got a few good ones but make them as soon as you can!

We really enjoyed the Garden Grill last year. It's also a revolving restaurant, so that's a cool bonus. Our daughter was 3 last year when we went and it was a hit. I do not recommend the Liberty Tree Tavern. We were very rushed there and were ready to leave and still hadn't seen all the characters. It was like they wanted us out, but we weren't leaving until we'd seen the characters.
But call now for reservations!
