How busy are the days post Christmas?

It depends on what you want to accomplish. What are your priorities? Taking in the holiday festivities, hitting your favorite rides, entertainment?

Holiday things, snacks, and our favorite rides. I’m savvy with LL so I’m confident we will get the rides we like. We don’t care to stake out spots for parades and fireworks, but would like to catch a glimpse. We rope drop too. Just don’t want it to be shoulder to shoulder impossible to get around with a stroller all day. The 18/19 would be the best for our schedule but I can make during the week work too. I just want it to be enjoyable and not have us all frustrated the whole time lol

Just a heads up but our Orange County school district (Capistrano Unified) Christmas break begins on Friday 12/19. The last day of school is 12/18, which is also the last day Believe Magic Keys can visit beiges being blocked out until 1/4. My kids have Believe Keys so I’m planning to head to the parks after school. We probably won’t be the only ones!

12/19 might actually be nice since all the Magic Keys are blocked except the highest (Inspire) and most kids probably have school that day.

More great info, thank you!!

Thinking of figuring out how to make the 17/18th work versus the 19th..

If you are experienced and know the lay of the land, I don't think you will be frustrated the whole time. The key is to be flexible and know that it isn't going to be the same as visiting in mid January.

That’s what I reiterated to my family.. this isn’t a once in a lifetime trip for us (we are so very lucky!) so it’s okay if we have to slow down and be adaptable. Our trips often feel like a blur because we are in and out, accomplishing what we set out to do, so perhaps a forced slow down will be the trip we need 😊
