I have a late reservation for CRT and I'm debating on whether or not it is worth it. We will have our 15 month old with us.

Personally, I would not do it. Especially for the how much money it is. But I guess it really demends on your child. Mine... no way would that be even close to a good meal at 8 pm at that age.

No I would not either. My 3 yr old wouldn't stay up for a dinner reservation at 8pm(or if he did 20 minutes in he would be wanting to go home) and adding to that being in a park all day would only make it worse. I have friends though whose little ones stay up until 10 though, so I guess it would all depend on their regular bedtime routine.

i feel like even with the most well-natured baby, that is a recipe for a meltdown....a busy day in the parks and then a sit down dinner at a late time? i wouldn't risk it (and i'm not one of those people who defaults to thinking negatively about taking babies places...ours turns 1 during our trip next month).

our baby has a later schedule than most (we usually eat dinner at 8 and he goes to bed at 8:30), but we are still planning all our dinners significantly earlier in the evenings for this trip....to a) hopefully avoid long waits to be seated past our ADR time b) keep us on pace to be done with dinner and have baby in bed by his usual time if possible.

It depends on your child. My DS has always been a night owl. An 8:00 pm ADR would have been no problem for us. I would only consider it, if your child was one to sleep in & stay up late.

Of course depends on the child. Our experience is that it is a fairly quick meal at CRT.. you could be out of there by 915 pm even with taking pictures with Cinderella prior and then during your dinner. We feel the food is also on the better end at WDW

Forgot to mention... 815 pm is a great way to watch the fireworks through the windows in the dining room at CRT... since they fire them off behind fantaslyland

Whether an 8:00 reservation will enable you to see fireworks from CRT will depend on what time Wishes is scheduled. Also, while it's an interesting view, you will only be able to see a limited number of the fireworks. The view from CRT is a different perspective, but not the best so I would only recommend it if you've already seen Wishes from Main Street/the hub/outside.

As others have said, only you know how your child will react to a late dinner. Often on vacation schedules and routines that are followed at home are changed. Some little ones adapt readily while others have a harder time.

I wouldn't do it, but I also know that my kids wouldn't do well with staying out so late at that age. It would be a recipe for disaster and it's not that great of an experience to justify eating there at that time with a baby that young. However, only you know how your child will react.

You know your kid and you have your instincts so go with them. For me 15 months was a great age and I could see my little one falling asleep on my shoulder while I eat- or asleep on snow white.

If you do decide to go I would suggest asking in advance for a booth if you can- much more peaceful if the little one is trying to sleep.
