Reservations for drinks only?

Hi! I was wondering..... is it possible to make ADRs and have drinks only? I was looking at the threads of drink photos and they look awesome! My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and I was thinking that just having a little alone time over drinks, late in the evening after dinner would be really nice. Plus, I would love to try several of the drinks posted (over the entire 7 days!), and I will definitely have one with dinner, but there is no way I could have more than one (maybe 2?) over dinner. I'd love to try a drink at a different restaurant a couple of hours later. Is making a reservation for drinks only a big no, no? Or do they require you to order a meal?

Depending on which restaurant you are considering, they probably have a bar or lounge area that you can get those drinks from. You shouldn't need to make reservations at all, you'll likely be able to just walk right up. This saves you the stress of making the ADR and making sure that you're there right on time, just go for a drink when the mood strikes.

Quite a few us know just where to get the most tasty adult beverages!

Most of the drinks that are available in the WDW restaurants are available at the bars and lounges around WDW, so there really isn't a reason to book a ressie at a table service to get them. My favorite drinks happen to be spread around Epcot center in the booths in the pavilions. France has the Grand Marnier slush at the booth outside and various wines, there's great beer around too.

You could also try La Cava del Tequila. After TDC Nala's review, I know it'll be a stop for us on our next trip. (I second the Slushes in France)

I can't recommend a drink right now, but the alternative to going to Jiko for just drinks is Victoria Falls, which is the lounge in Animal Kingdom Lodge. They also serve light appetizers there.
