Reservations for Dining

We are going to Disney Nov.17 to 23, 2007. I want to make reservations for the 18th to the 22nd. May 21 will be 180 days from my trip, will i have to wait until the 22nd to make reservations or if i want to make them on the 21st do i have to make a reservation for the 17th too?
Also, what time do they open to start take reservations?

From what I've always heard, you can make ressies from 180 days from check in, not first ressie date. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong though.

Are you staying on property? If so, you can make reservations 180+10 days in advance. What that means is that you can call 180 days before the first day of your trip to make reservations, and then book for up to 10 days after that. However, if you aren't staying on property, you can only book for 180 days in advance of the day you are booking for. Hope this helps!
