Reservations for a split stay

Good morning, I have stated on another thread yesterday that I would never do this again but DH & DS have convinced me yet again. The first time we were at the GF and then off to the Portofino Bay Hotel so we had no choice but to move the luggage ourselves. We would like to stay at CR & YC (both concierge) which will include the DDP/MYW tickets. Not sure which we would like to stay at first. I was thinking of CR first as we have stayed at the YC before. Do we have to make two separate reservations or can WDTC put both on one reservation? Also, will the first resort transfer our luggage to the second or do we do that our selves? Thanks.

You have to make two separate reservations and the resort can transfer your bags for you if you want them to.

We have done split stay Disney vacations several times. In planning which resort when, I take our park and dining plan into consideration. So, if you are planning to go to MK first - stay at CR first and then go to MGM and Epcot when staying at YC. I think AK is the same distance from both. We just love split stays! Happy planning.

This is a great idea. I will definitely keep this in mind when planning. Most likely it will be CR as MK is always our first park to visit. We are excited to stay at CR as we have only had dinner there but never stayed.
