I HAVE RESERVATIONS TO EAT DINNER AT BOMAS. I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM SOME WHO HAVE EATEN THERE.:D

We try to eat dinner at Boma's on every WDW visit. My one word of advice to anyone who wants to try Boma's is to be adventureous in your eating. There are many, many delicious food selections on the buffet. There are several choices among the salads, entrees, soups, etc. Be brave & try something new & different!!

Have an open mind. Don't fill up on soup! I love the soups they serve. Last trip, they had 4 soups and I had a small bowl of each. Then I got another bowl of my favorite. Needless to say, I was pretty filled up on soup and still had to stuff myself full of "real food" and dessert! This restaurant has a great variety and everything is yummy! Enjoy! Dawn

The soups are fabulous! I also like the ribs but they don't serve them every night. Make sure you save some room for dessert, they've got a great selection! My favourite is the Zebra Dome :)

Boma's was great. But previous poster is correct--you must be willing to try new types of food--you don't want to pay the price of the buffet and eat mac-n-cheese for your meal. I found the meats to be a little too spicy for my taste--but they were prepared well (except for a beef dish that was a little tough.) Hubby loved the spicy food. The good news is that Boma has a tremendous variety of veggie dishes and I didn't miss having meat! I couldn't fit enough on a plate! I really enjoyed the vegetables, breads and the soups were to die for (loved the chicken pepper pot soup). Make sure you go hungry and save room for the desserts. I ended up eating enough soup and chocolate to easily make the trip worth the cost. I hope we can go back our next trip.

The buffet is divided up into sections or pods which is nice. Also a cast member is helping serve at the stations and will explain the foods. It helps take away from the feeding trough atmosphere some buffets have. If you don't like a certain spice, or have a minor food allergy issue, ask the CM. The atmosphere was "boisterous". Great food, lively, nice decor--beautiful colors and pattern--but not the greatest for an intimate romantic meal. But I don't think buffets are romantic.

My DW and DD and I ate there after a day at Animal Kingdom. We left the car at their lot and took a bus to the lodge. Found out after dinner that there were no special bus run back to Animal Kingdom! I went outside and asked some other workers and they told me to wait for the Epcot bus and ask the driver. I did and luckly it worked. He dropped us off to an empty lot where the security guard felt sorry for us and took us to our car,( didn't know where it was) Felt pretty dumb in front of the ladies! Any way I loved the food. DW was a little more picky and likes to eat things she has heard of. DD was neutral. I would say if your adventrous go for it , Just don't leave your car at the Animal Kingdom!

I have PS's there for our next trip and had been on the fence about whether to go or not. But the consensus on the board seemed to be it was a place you should at least try once.

Took DD on our last girls only trip - she has been a picky eater all her life (age 28) and she loved it!!!!! There are some different items, but everything is good. Zebra domes are the best!!!

I love Boma. We usually eat there every other trip, or every third trip. I love their meat topped with the Boma mustard...mmmmm. The only soup I really liked was the ginger/carrot soup. They didn't have it last time, and I was so disappointed. :( Apparently they have a set rotation of food, because when we went there last time, our waitress said they were on the ???/Friday rotation. I think when they had the ginger/carrot soup it was on a Saturday night. Anyways, you should try Boma once.

Wow, I love BOMA. We always go there on our trips and we always have a great time, due to the food but also the service. The CMs there are always so fantastic to us (for us, BOMA has been more consistent in the service department). Definitely be adventurous, and sample the desserts! Zebra Domes!

I love Boma -- and it's one of DH's favorites. We had dinner there twice on our last trip and had breakfast there too.

Remember that you can ask for the recipes for dishes you liked. :D

I asked for recipes and they gave me a card to fill out - the recipes were emailed to me within 2 weeks - we had the carrot and ginger soup for thanksgiving!

This is one of my very favorite restaurants. We eat there at least once every trip (and more than once if we have time!)

I definitely second the sentiment that you need to go hungry, and to be adventuresome in what you try. You will likely be pleasantly surprised with many of the offerings.

They have quite a selection, and if you like tiramisu they have a coconut version that is to die for!!

Beth E. Thanks so much for your info. I can get the wonderful Chicken Pepper Pot Soup recipe!

Do you know if this is for Boma only, or all Disney restuarants? I fell in love with the fruit dip at Ohana's last year.

jockaroo~ This is for all Disney Restaurants!

Our family loves BOMA's as well! We went on a large family vacation (17 of us) and my SIL was apprehensive about what her children would or more likely would not eat (all 3 are very picky). She commented at least 4 times on HOW MUCH her children ate! Especially the youngest who was eating REAL food... like chicken! LOL! You may very well be surprised on how well you like it... it has been a MUST DO on our list! Hope you enjoy it!
