Boma's was great. But previous poster is correct--you must be willing to try new types of food--you don't want to pay the price of the buffet and eat mac-n-cheese for your meal. I found the meats to be a little too spicy for my taste--but they were prepared well (except for a beef dish that was a little tough.) Hubby loved the spicy food. The good news is that Boma has a tremendous variety of veggie dishes and I didn't miss having meat! I couldn't fit enough on a plate! I really enjoyed the vegetables, breads and the soups were to die for (loved the chicken pepper pot soup). Make sure you go hungry and save room for the desserts. I ended up eating enough soup and chocolate to easily make the trip worth the cost. I hope we can go back our next trip.
The buffet is divided up into sections or pods which is nice. Also a cast member is helping serve at the stations and will explain the foods. It helps take away from the feeding trough atmosphere some buffets have. If you don't like a certain spice, or have a minor food allergy issue, ask the CM. The atmosphere was "boisterous". Great food, lively, nice decor--beautiful colors and pattern--but not the greatest for an intimate romantic meal. But I don't think buffets are romantic.
