Reservation Wanted: June 3-5 09

I'm not a DVC member so I'm looking for a reservation for June 3 - 5, 2009:

Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas - Kidani

1 Bedroom - Standard (will take Savanna if Standard is not available)

Will take a Studio if a 1 Bedroom is not available as well.

I know it's short notice but I'm looking to treat the wife and 2 kids to an upgrade on the wife's 40th birthday.

I did call and there is nothing at any resort during that time period other than a studio at SSR. I hope your wife has a nice birthday just being at Disney!

Thanks Gary but the kids are anxious to try out the new water play area for kids at Kidani.

Looking at the AP site and the general public web pages, there's both savanna and standard 1 bedroom and 2 bedrooms available for our dates. It must be frustrating for DVC owners to see availability to cash paying customers but not accessible to DVC members.

We were thinking about becoming DVC members ourselves but I have to admit that it may not work for us since we're unable to plan our vacations that far in advance. We jump when there's a slowdown in work. That's resulted in 8 Disney visits this past 2 years.....oh well.
