Reservation questions

I am double checking all my dining options. A few things I may change or just cancel completely. We are staying at WL.
breakfast LTT 8:25
Breakfast Chef Mickey 9:30
Think I may cancel Akerhaus breakfast, head over later and eat somewhere
8:35 1900 Breakfast
8:35 Cape May
dinner 4:30 1900
Really debating canceling CRT lunch.

~my daughter isn't really and doesn't know who the princesses are. She is all about Mickey and the gang. While I still think princess interaction is great, I'm thinking she can have that at Epcot at meet n greets? and if we do the 1900 dinner. I'm sure we will be back in the next few years and she will probably really love the princess then. So, maybe wait on eating at the castle. (there is just this lil' girl inside that wants to eat there) I just can't still get over that price. But I don't want to regret it.

Also, I know if I used a cc to reserve I have to call and cancel. What happens if you don't show up to other reservations and forgot to call? Also, how late can you be? With 2 lil' ones I just never know.

One last thing is when should I plan on leaving WL to get to 1900, Cape May, Chef Mickey. Should I use the bus or boat and transfer?

Can't help with all your questions but I can add this:

If you don't show up to CRT they will charge you. Also not sure how late you can be and still get in....maybe 15 mins, but that may push it.

Personally I would wait on that dinner until DD is old enough. It is a chunk of change to not really enjoy it yet.

Other ressies being late is about the same....15 min rule. We always shoot for 1/2 hour early and usually get seated then.
Most places unless held with a credit card won't charge you for missing the adr. However please try and cancel, others are desperate to get in and are turned away often. But with little ones it is hard.

I can relate to the "little girl inside".......all us girls can. But I think you will enjoy it better when she will enjoy it better.

Not sure how old your little one is...I just took my kids and we did do CRT. It was a nice breakfast and I have planned a trip back this year where we plan to go again. My step daughter is 7. She isn't huge into princesses (more into Hannah Montana)...but this did end up being one of her favs...that is why we are going back.
My daughter is 1. She did not enjoy it at all. She LOVED LOVED LOVED Mickey and the Gang, and any other character for that matter...but any face character she wanted nothing to do with. So for her, I plan on making the trip back when she is about 4-5.
Overall, I enjoyed the breakfast....but I'm sure it will be so worth it when my little one is into princesses. The only reason we ate at CRT was because that 'little girl' inside me HAD to eat at the castle. I didn't regret it.

Oh, if you do go, plan to be early....I know its hard with little ones, but they will charge you and if they are packed, you may lose your spot if you are more than 15min late.

I want to point out that CRT will charge your cc at the time of booking. The other restaurants 'hold' your information and I believe can charge your card if you do not cancel your reservations within a specified timeframe. I'm not certain how strictly this is enforced. If I am off base I am certain that someone will correct me. CRT is a tradition and I have already paid for our June 2010 trip If we cancel, the funds will be returned. As a previous pp stated, if you can not make a reservation (and we have missed a few) call so that the spot frees up for another family. Good luck!

p.s. If I were you, go because you want to. What better reason? You deserve it, right

thanks.. Oldest DD is 2.5 so def mickey, mickey, mickey!! I think I may pass on CRT for now at least. Momma may get a nice souvenier instead for that price.

If I call into dining will they have all my dining reservations or do I have to give them every number? (to cancel)


I may cancel cape may also. I don't know how long of a trip it is to get there. I rather do CM or LTT twice. (at least I hope so) Last time we went we didn't even go to AK. Did a quick drive by of Epcot and DHS. (we only had a couple days). This time we have 5 and still may not really go to the others. There are just a few things at each I would like to do. Probably use one day and hit them.
