Reservation question

I need to reserve Nov. 9-12 (tent site). It is showing no availability. When I change the check out to Nov. 17 the tent site is available. My question is can I go ahead and reserve Nov. 9-17 and call back later and change my check out to Nov. 12? Thanks for any help.

Sure. That is one of the tricks to getting a Fort reservation.

I haven't heard of that happening. You mean a site only reservation not a package, right?
