Does anyone know if we request two studios will they or can they guarantee them together or connecting?

My understanding is you can request "close" but there are no guarantees.

You will not have connecting studios. I don't think connecting studios (studio to studio) exist. Connecting studios connect to a 1BR.

There are no connecting studios at any DVC resorts. They will likely be seperated by a 1 bedroom unit at most and could be in different buildings at SSR or OKW.

When you make the reservations, reference the other reservation in each.
