I signed up for touring plans reservation finder but it seems it checks only once an hour? Every time I checked their last check was at least 40 minutes from the current time. Are there any other recommended sites to help find my reservation? I have been keeping up with the cancelled threads here as well.

Once an hour, 24/7 for free is pretty darned fantastic. It has never failed me. Results are not always instant. Lots of results closer to trip dates seem to be found - probably because of reservation hoarders that cancel when they finalize their plans. I don't even worry about reservations anymore.180 is a farce except for the top few high demand places. The food is just not that great. Hopefully it comes through for you!

I have been using the reservation finder for a couple of months for my upcoming November trip and it has helped me greatly to get reservations that I couldn't at the 180 day mark. The first month was kind of slow, but things have really picked up as I have gotten closer to my trip. Stick with it, I have become a believer.

I also use ***********'s reservation finder but prefer TP's since it gives more info such as the hourly update.

Used it for our trip this past March and got like 3 resies that way. Have one in there now for Dec trip but it's the CG brunch and I suspect it might not come through as it's only offered on Sundays.

Agreed that it's awesome, especially because it's free!

I will say I did have it finally did fail me today though. Friends of ours decided to join after the 180 day mark, so I've had a couple reservation finders setup for harder to get spots that we'd already booked for the smaller party. I was looking for a lunch for 6 at Sci-Fi. Early this morning I got the notification and immediately (and I mean immediately, maybe within 30 seconds of receiving the notification which had only checked maybe 30 seconds prior) signed in manually, since I got the text notification on my watch first, to find that it wasn't available. I then went back and clicked on the link in the email to try that way, and it took me to a reservation for 6 at Tiffins, so not sure what happened.

I use the reservation finder every trip and have gotten several of the reservations I have been looking for. I will take any help I can get.

Touring Plans got me my BOG lunch reservation, still waiting on Garden Grill 8ish AM reservation, hoping it pops up close to the trip date :)

TP got me my BOG lunch and a few Ohana (until I got the right time all the way back in July). It popped up for a BOG today (I'm trying to adjust earlier) but I missed it by 4 minutes.

The other one with the Mouse in the name was always way behind.

I'm not a fan of that reservation finder, but there are more out there. Just can't be discussed here. They can work, I've gotten many reservations. I notice that a lot of people seem to cancel late at night, if I happen to be up at like 2am I'll see BOG and a bunch of hard to get reservations. So you could always try and just look around that time if you're having a late night.

I have gotten at least 3 reservations for our upcoming trip using the reservation finder at touring plans. It has worked well for us.

Don't give up! I've gone weeks without an alert, then get 3 in one day. You won't always get the ressie as someone was quicker to get there, but it does do it's job. I've had to rely on it heavily lately as I've changed my park days 3 times well after 180 day reservations. I'm getting the reservations slowly but surely. Have patience. They will come up, especially closer to your dates.
