Reservation confirmations...... packets post...again...

Sorry for the major repost, I have read through a few threads about the time length it takes the Me (?) packets to arrive, but I also wanted to post a poll with my question.

Anyway, my trip is in 19 days and I still haven't received ANY sort of confirmation... we have called a bunch of times, and they said it was printed like 2 weeks ago. Well still nothing in the mail. I really have this feeling that it isn't going to come- I am worried it was lost in the mail. For anyone living in an apartment, you know that feeling all too well.

So my poll (ONLY FOR AUG/SEPT/OCT TRIPS)............ how long has it taken for you to received your packet/confirmation?

If you answer the poll & your trip wasn't in Aug/Sept/Oct, it doesn't really make the results accurate, because it seems like depending upon the time of year, some get their packets, etc sooner.

I guess I am trying to figure out if the free dining add-on has delayed some sending of the packets..?

I'm going in October and haven't received anything yet, but I haven't expected anything.

They usually send it out 40 days prior to your check-in date. Did you have a room-only reservation or a magic your way reservation with tickets and dining plan? If it is a MYW package, I would keep calling them about it because there should be a package with luggage tags and coupons coming, as well as your confirmation details.

We are leaving in 5 days and received our ME packet right at the 40 day mark. I received our Disney Documents (reservation confirmation, souvenir luggage tags, vouchers, etc.) on July 30th (can't remember what day we were at).

I have read some people say they never received anything and all was fine. I'm sure it will be the same for you. Good luck!!

I told my TA my new address though. She told me that she should receive the confirmations 3 weeks out, and then she mails them when she gets them.
I'm going to call/email her TH if I don't see anything in the mail this week.

We are going the first week in October, 42 days and counting. We haven't received anything yet, but now that you have this thread going, I will keep my eye on the thread and the other eye on my mail box and I will repost when and if we receive our documents.

I guess it's just weird because the prior times we have gone, it came 45-35 prior.

Definitely let me know when you get yours. At least I am not the only one!

It is a MYW package. So I hope it comes soon, I am ready for more luggage tags- lol

We recieved our ME package about 37 days, but got the official clear package from WDTC exactly on day 30. I had made a countdown calendar for my nieces and was taking it over to them on day 30, and my maillady stopped me and handed me the package. She knew I'd been looking for it!

We got our ME package on Friday and Houston (Disney) we have a problem. Maybe I am making too much of this, but here goes.


We are bringing our grandchildren, flying from California. When we made the plane reservations we had to give the grandchildrens names. They have different last names than we do. Not a problem.....yet...... The ME tags have them listed with their first names and OUR last name. They are listed under me, that is to say, my name is on top and their name is under mine, but with my last name. Do you think that this is going to complicate things at the airports? Should I call MS and have them re-issue new ME tags with their correct names? I know that I gave them the DGC's last name.

I don't think it's going to be a huge problem at the airports- since they are children (not really sure though), but uh - YEAH I would call Disney and have them call the records dept to issue new ones, then have them FEDEX them to you for the trouble. Just ask them nicely of course, I mean, the kids deserve their own names on their magical tags!

UPDATE on my PACKET:
14 days til and STILL NO PACKET! We called Disney friday and they are supposed to fedex it, hopefully I will get it this week.

My DH and I are leaving in 18 day's and we still have not received our travel documents yet my travel agent said that I schould receive my travel documents 10 days prior of my departure. So i hope we receive them this week.

Update on incorrect names on ME tags.

I called MS and they updated their computers with the correct last names for DGC. They told me that it will make no difference as far as the airline is concerned and that those tags are just for ME use. As long as we have their correct names on the plane reservations and have their birth certificates for verification that they belong with us, everything is fine. I could have had them send us new tags, but decided against it. This is something for my scrapbooks with a cute story anyway.

Glad everything will be okay- yes things like that DO make for a great scrapbook story!

When my fiance and I ate at the hollywood brown derby- we did the dine with an imagineer, they put MY last name on my fiance's name tag since I made the reservations for the lunch! haha.

ANOTHER UPDATE on my packet:

Disney just called my fiancé this morning, and it WASN'T FEDEXED, they JUST today sent it through the regular mail. I don't know what good that is going to do- since my mail service is horrible.

This is so frustrating. My trip is in 13 days. I can't imagine it getting here on time.

What exactly can we expect in the so-called "packet" we are to receive at the 30-0 day mark? We received the confirmation of our reservation at SSR right after it was made. We received another confirmation with the ME added and then another confirmation with the DDP added. We have, as previously stated, already received the ME tags and voucher booklet. So what else is there, or are we done? In my mind we have everything that we need. Am I right?

Sounds like you have everything....luggage tags, confirmation sheets, vouchers (for planet hollywood?)..... more confirmation sheets... I think that's it. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

OMG, I hope that you have taken names and numbers of everyone that you have spoken to so that if there is a problem when you get there (which I doubt, but still.....) you will have some recourse. I can't believe that it is this close and you don't have anything. Sending you...
